watch watching the replay of thursdays games after work to watch jimmy rollins steal home when i found out this week that bell's (our 3rd baseman)'s cousin past away over in iraq. my prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family on their lose. also to all the soldiers lost and are still over there away from their loved ones #fett#

just got home from the phillies game today on sunday. surprise surprise pidilla pitches and they loss. goin into todays game i know they were 1 1/2 games out of the wildcard lead but i have this gut feeling for some reason that they wont make the playoffs. oh yeah that because i have been a phillies fan for 25 years and they only made the playoffs in three of those years argh so frustrating. still be there for them though go phillies

Wow Ryan Howard jsut keeps impressin me. a home run right after Burrells 3-run home run tuesday night. then his first grand slam of his career wed night. this kid is the goods. i love thome but the phillies cant afford to get rid of howard. in the off season they need to eat some of thomes contract and try to trade him. need to think of the future and keep howard around. oh brother Thor....last time i checked the phillies were alot closer to a playoff spot then those Orioles heehee go Phillies

OK. Get ready for the let down. They go out west and win 5 of 6, get to within 1/2 game of the wildcard. Now they come home and play Washington and Houston this week. They will find a way to lose 5 of 7 or will suprise us and take over the wildcard lead. I vote for the former. You get used to that being a Phillies fan. Now if they were playing in the Western Division they would actually have a 6 game lead. Of course even the Mets would be in first out there.

i can live with the phillies missin the play offs, god knows i have this long, if they play competitive all they way till the end. all they have to do is win the series against the teams they play and then i will be sitting in my seats in philly watchin them play in october. win or loss i will always still go to the games. but who would have thought they would be this close this late in the year. not that i am givin props to ryan howard. but wow look at that guy hit. over the weekend he proved he isnt only a home run hitter. they better not trade him in the off season. he is too valuable. go phillies

and that quick the road trip goes to crap. the phillies had so many oppertunities to distance themselves from some teams and make up so ground on the braves. a 6-6 road trip isnt goin to do that. with 2 rookie starting pitcher in the rotation and bein in the playoff race. that doesnt make a good combination. argh. good thing i came into the season not expecting anything. oh well go phillies

and now they phillies are letting games that they should have won get away from them. now they are 1 1/2 games out of the wild card lead. oh how three days can change a team. most people are surprised by this. i expected it. they always find a way to rip our hearts out.
