LOL, how true that is. But still it was the Yankees. Plus we won again today, and if this is what he does after being sick all week, what happens if he stays healthy?
Fully recovered from a 103-degree fever and a bout of dehydration, Howard got healthy with a 4-for-4, five-RBI performance in Friday's 11-10 Grapefruit League win over the Yankees.

one of those things about being a philly fan. so many times these teams have brought my hope up and then had my heart ripped out. i will never drop them. but tryin to be realistic. but they are our team no matter what.
i did drop my season tix this year. and before anyone says that i am a fair weather fan....u obviously dont know me. but i need to get a new car this year and my brother will be getting married so theres $2000 in a trip that i will be spending. but i will be at opening day and probally two more games this year. we also have a independant baseball team in lancaster that i will be goin to.

the phillies have the best record in the grapefruit league with a 10-4 record. only cleveland has more wins at 12-6
Mexico beat USA in the World League 2-1. this knocks us out of the competition

Yep, which proves yet again, Money can't buy everything. That team had a Yankee payroll if you added up the salaries and still underachieved. And I don't buy the well they haven't been playing since Sept. of last year. Except for Cuba neither have the other teams full of Major Leaguers.

Yes its the World Baseball Classic. As for Baseball, in all honesty the rest of the world caught up with us along time ago. Basketball the same, but thats because we don't play that as a TEAM anymore. Its one or two individuals and a bunch of players to take up rest of space. Hockey we have never caught up with the rest of world. Soccer we have gotten close to catching up. But no one will ever catch us for American Football.

the Phillies lost on wed 2-6
they are currently in fourth place in the Grapefruit league. Florida: 19-6 Cleveland: 19-10 Reds: 19-11 Phillies: 17-10
no one in the Cactus League has a better record then those four teams.
Happy belated Ryan Howard Day. Mayor Street pronounced Tuesday as Ryan Howard Day for him winning last years Rookie of the Year.

The Phillies lost wed to Toranto 2-6 and then lost to them again Thursday 0-2
The Phillies as of right now are 17-11 in grapefruit play and puts them in 4th place behind Florida 19-7, Cleveland 20-10, and the Reds 20-11. Two teams in the Cactus League have better records then the Phillies: Kansas City 16-9 & San Diego 16-10. LA Angels have the same record

the Phillies tried to do something nice for the season tix holders that werent coming back to try to get them back. they put together a nice DVD to send out for them. well some of those folks op[ened up the DVDs and put them in and instead of the phillies, they got a DVD of rooster fighting. lol what a city. instead of baseball u can watch footage of two chickens goin at it to each other. got i love being a phillies fan. lol
