I would recommend Dungeon Siege as well if you like Diablo, its just as detailed and even more free with how you can advance your characters.

Hehe, goes to show that I haven't played either in a bit, got Diablo II's expansion pack mixed up with Baldur's Gate II. Ah well.
Edit: I mean, honestly, they're both add-ones with a guy named Baal/Bhaal for a sequel to a great game.
I've tried Dungeon Siege's demo, but didn't get as involved in it. I might give the game another shot, it's cheap enough these days.

I loved the special edition of Morrow Wind on my daughter's X-Box. It's non-linear and you can go anywhere and do anything. I broke off the quest for a while and traveled the world as an assassin and then picked up an adventure in a mead hall in the far north. It allowed for a lot of creativity in a player. I also enjoyed kicking ass with twin light sabers in KOTOR-1. I played that one every which way but loose. I've also played just about every Might & Magic version going. Baldur's Gate was OK but I went "non-linear" somewhere's and didn't get to finish and didn't have the heart to go through from scratch again.

OK, I wanted to post about some new and newly-cheaper games I'm excited about that I just noticed at Gamestop. First, for the GameBoy Advance, there's Final Fantasy IV (a.k.a. FF II in the USA), which does include a lot of the stuff from FFIV that we never got in the US, for the Super Nintendo at any rate (extra items and abilities) as well as some other nice goodies exclusive to the GBA release.
On the cheap side of things, KOTOR II (Knights of the Old Republic II) is now 29.99 or less at most stores, so if you don't have it yet (Stormm, GaratJax, I'm looking at you) now's a pretty good time. Also, Neverwinter Nights Diamond edition is 29.99 or less now. For those wondering why the heck it's a diamond edition, they already used up Gold for NWN and one expansion pack, and Platinum for NWN and its two expansion packs. Diamond also includes the Kingmaker expansion pack modules and some other junk. So if you don't have NWN, or have just the game and no expansions (like me), now's the time to catch them all! Hehe. Oh, and if anyone wants a used NWN copy let me know cuz I'll have two then.

its also significant to note, for those who do not have DVD-ROM drives that the NWN Diamond pack is infact a single DVD, so if all you have is CD-ROM yer SOL

Heh, unless you spend $20 and install a DVD-ROM drive. Heck, spend a little more and get a burner while you're at it. ;D

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is now down to a bit under $20 at many stores. If you like Star Wars and haven't gotten this game, you are now legally required to pick up a copy or Cheney will shoot you in the face

Win. (Not as in I won the game, I mean that game wins) Anyways, I play all manner of MMOs, currently playing Guild Wars mostly, considering joining Eve Online.

Ok, but did you win without cheating? Man, that thing is impossible! Heh. Anyway, for the fans of Knights of the Old Republic- a comic you've got to read: www.inktank.com/AT/index.cfm?nav=973
