I finally opened my copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. I'd been putting it off because I bought other games around the same time and I wanted to be able to actually enjoy them instead of getting sucked into a KOTOR void for a month. That thing is frigging awesome so far, and I'm only level 4 or 5 with a vibroblade instead of a lightsaber. So far, it's played out like a mystery game, trying to figure out why you're in so much #poop# , which is rather fun.
And the new HK (Hunter-Killer, they like to pose as protocol droids) droid is a better liar than the old one (HK-47), which is basically like saying Robbie's a better roleplayer than Johnny. The HK-50 is an utter bastard who's basically your opponent at first, and is a murderous, conniving wretch, and STILL you've got to love his style. That's a good character.
Well, I see where my free time is going now. I love that series, and since they're $20 these days you can hardly argue with the price!

KOTOR II was an excellent game. I love the KOTOR series alot. Any game that I beat and then play start to finish again and beat a second time's got to be an excellent game. Only happens with KOTOR and Fable recently. Before that was Phantasy Star III....beat that thing something like 6 times. I'm still playing Maple Story. It's a really fun game and is totally free to download and play. I hate the idea of buying a $50 game only to have to pay $10 a month to even play the darn thing. What a rip off!! No D&D online for me. The graphics are a bit anime-ish. But I love the fact that there are almost 1 million players online. You guys should check it out. WWW.mapleglobal.com. Morgause and I have been playing Puzzle Pirates of late. We're mostly on the Hunter Ocean, which is a Dubloon ocean. What that means is that there is an in-game currency you need for many/most activities which you can get by either buying or working your butt off for in-game. However, this means that you can play for free if you want to put enough time in. You can also get a subscription for about $10/month, in which case you get more options and can play on the subscription servers. Anyway, it's at least free to try out, some of the puzzles are a lot of fun (they tend to be similar to some of the free online mini-games) and you play the puzzles to do your job well on the pirate ship. Ship-to-ship combat is fun, although I've gotten more money just working for the navy instead of a pirate vessel. Try it out, it's at www.puzzlepirates.com and the technical name is Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates, hehe.

My maple story character is doing well so far. I'm up to Level 46...leveling is quick in the beginning and then takes forever afterwards. They just added 2 whole new worlds to explore, which keeps the game interesting. Seriously, it is alot of fun. Check it out sometime. Let me know if you are interested. I'll take you under my wing and get you started. www.mapleglobal.comBera world Fabian95 - Character name

Between playing sessions of Puzzle Pirates ( www.puzzlepirates.com/register/welcome.wm?from=r351049 ) I was reading PC Gamer and came across something that would make MH very happy: Civilization IV's Warlords expansion has 8 new scenarios, which include the unification of China, playing as the Ottomans under Mehmed the Conquerer, Alexander the Great, and others. But what I figured he'd REALLY like is that one campaign has you as Ragnar leading the Viking invasion of Northern Europe. Whet your interest? Hehe.

I also refuse to use IE, it is horrible compared to Firefox. I'm currently playing flyff.gpotato.com/ and it is fun. Since it is free and has cartoon violence it is ok for my four year old son to play with me and the wife. Not that we have that much time to play it but it is fun when we do.
