For those who are curious, my usual workplace let me go about a month ago, so I hadn't been able to be online much (no computer access at the new places). But the doctor who was basically replacing me seems to have gone insane and I'm back there again with Net access all day at work. Yaay! So I'm celebrating by trolling the forums, for lack of anything else to do at the moment, hehe.

I dunno, I thought with that Mind Bondage spell he was supposed to buy me hundreds of dollars in D&D books, not go insane. Well, that's what happens when you don't practice the sneer properly.

Well
Sorry to hear that, then glad to hear that.
I've had some life crap too lately.
I don't think I told anyone in the forum yet, but my wife and I are separating. We've been slowly doing it over the past year without realizing it and now the last 2 months we are doing it legally.
We'll put our house on the market in a month or so and I'll be moving closer to work, which is closer to most of you guys anyway.
Lots of changes coming.

Oh. Ouch. Geez, I think the ratio of college friends I have who've stayed married versus have gotten divorced is pretty low. Sorry to hear it. I'd wondered how that worked, being away from your family so much lately.

Rincewind, good to hear you're employed again.
I should be joining the ranks of the unemployed in about a year, as our bank was taken over, and 80% of the employees will be let go after full conversion. Not a bad thing really, as I'll get a severance package, unemployment, and it'll give Kaber and I time to fix up the home for sale, and look out west for a new place. Yeppers, we're fixin' to move to Colorado or Utah...but not for another two years or so.
Antioch, I feel for ya hun.

Who says we won't keep gaming with you guys...there is online gaming you know; and then there is webcams, it would almost be like we were there. ...and think of it this way, someone decides to vacation near where we are, an impromptu tabletop game won't be out of the question.

Antioch, sorry to hear about the marriage not working out. At least you have us for friends to be there for you. At the very least you can find solace in knowing that you don't have Grond's life. ROFL "You know I jest Grondy" your momma.

Yeah, we're here for ya. Hey, if its any consolation....the second time around is always better. And hey, maybe things will work out. Sometimes people just need a little space.

Yeah but that one touched a little too close to the truth. Well at least I'm not a grown man who thinks of himself as another grown man's mother. I can't imagine how bad that must be.

Yeah and I was something like 10 pounds newborn, if I remember weighing myself correctly. It has been a while, at least like 10 years. Wait, Kaber's leaving!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This the end, my only friend the end. . . .
