Oh well, I don't know how much this helps, but I've started with Kalevala (The Finnish Saga, folklore etc. compiled by Elias Lönnrot), and found something they claim to be the original English translation. The site: www.sacred-texts.com/index.htmKalevala: www.sacred-texts.com/neu/kveng/Kalevala might prove intresting for those who are into the Norse mythology. I haven't browsed thru the site proper like, but the runes seem to be in place. Those who don't know anything about the Finns, this will explain some of the weirdness of our existence. The book is a compilation of stories and folks stuff Mr. Lönnrot recorded in his travels, and as such it shouldn't be thought as a comprehensive Saga. It's the one we claim to be ours though. There are some similarities to the Norse sagas, but the origins of the Finns is different - we hail from the Ural range, with immigrants from the Scandinavia mixing the stuff up (that would explain the similarities with the other North Europeans). oh well, here I am, ranting again.
