DM's NOTE:
And so... after so many years we have come at last to this. There have been many so good times and so many wonderous sites have been seen. From the lower levels you have fought your way to the epic arena. You have come far my friends but all good things must come to an end.
The wheel turns, the ages pass.
PAHWG has seen many players come and go. Some have come from as far as New Jersey and every so often even beyond while others remain close. Just down the road.
It started long before these forums were conceived and few of the original players remain.
Since I have taken over, PAHWG has moved first from 1st Edition to 2nd under the tutalage of MH and LWW and from 2nd to 3.5E under my care.
Like any family we have had our share of differences. Inner squables and petty arguments. Some players have driffted away and others have been asked to leave. But you are still part of the family.
You have all played your parts in shaping the campaign world and leaving your marks. There has been laughter and tears, yelling and cheers and now, as this year closes and LWW and I prepare for a new life, hopefully in new lands, I pass the torch to another and while we will be with you yet a little longer, I want to thank you all.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my gaming experience with you. You, the last remnants of PAHWG have been a pleasure to game with. You have challanged me as DM and as such I have grown. You have been one of the best groups I have ever encountered and I take these experiences with me and will treaure them always as I continue on my journey.
Thank you for your hospitalities, your time and for sharing in your lives.
Thank you.
