OK, it occurs to me that I don't actually need to have the game on a Sunday, I will have some Saturdays (don't know which right now) available for games as well if that would work out better for people. If not, the first day that I think I'll be free is Sunday, August 27th. (The 6th wasn't working for people, the 13th is Kaber's, the 20th is a picnic I'm attending). I know Leafrunner has already said that the 27 is ok for him, but I'd like other people to accurately (Grond...) mention if that day would work for them or if it needs to be postponed or moved to some Saturday. Thanks!
Edit: I know in the past that Dragonsrule has had a problem with Saturdays, but I'm not sure if that still applies.

Yeah, Saturdays are always bad. I work Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10 pm. Sunday is the best day for me to play. Well Monday and Tuesday also, but I know people have work.

Right. Thursday evenings would also be possible for me, don't know about anyone else. Otherwise, we'll just have to keep it on Sundays, so is anyone available the 27th? (Other than Leaf)

Aug 27th, I'll be there.
Is this going to be at 6 ft under or at east coast gamers?

Everything's going to be at Six Feet Under, at least for a while, as the East Coast Gamers store has no private rooms yet. Plus ECG isn't really set up for D&D players, so if someone's forgotten dice, books, etc it's not as good a location.
Anyone else free on Sunday, the 27th of August?

OK, I've gotten enough face-to-face confirmations that this coming Sunday, the 27th, should work for people, so we'll have our game then, barring more of those last-minute mass cancellations that we've come to know and love. We're going to be finishing up that boss fight with the insane underdwellers, and then I'm hoping to finally get to that plot, since you're not around a lot of flammable stuff, apart from the forest. You've got a hard battle to start with, and then I'm planning on making you think, so I'd advise players to read up on the campaign history in the LGG3 Background and Character Creation thread to refresh your memories on what's going on. You've been warned!

Something tells me that the shambling mound (with the mark of the outsider) is coming back to haunt us...

Hm... he wasn't going to, but that'd be an interesting thought... of course, he'd be bigger by now...

Bah, I'll just go inside and tear him apart from the inside out. LOL Remember, Rach is immune to his paralysis and acid. The rest of you can just hit him with a bunch of clubs or maces.

OK, I hope people have read over the old campaign notes like I asked you to- I know I have, and I found it quite helpful in planning things. See you at Six Feet Under at noon!

That was a fun session, even if 1/2 the party were a bunch of WUSSES and didn't come. I just Carolus has learned his lesson, and will never remind the DM of a monster we have left behind. We go wandering around looking for XP, and naturally the Tendriculous was out looking for us. He found us and was not Gargantuan in size. Our Dread Necro got swallowed, we told the Rogue to just hide. Our Hexblade was not that lucky, as he somehow got killed outside of the monster and not in his belly. I got lucky after getting in some good shots with a greatclub(Giant Limb picked up off of the Ground), The best thing happened to Rach, he got swallowed. While in the belly I did manage to get a hole open in which I pushed out the necro at -2 hp. Naturally I stayed inside. I'm not totally stupid, why go outside and attack him with club again, where he can hit me, when I can stay inside. Immunity to Acid and Paralysis comes in handy. Attack from there, get him unconsious, then go outside and club him to death. Of course we had to figure out what to do with our dead Hexblade. DM intervention took care of that, as we Miraculously found a Scroll of True Ressurection in the Tendriculous' belly. Of course the day had to start with me losing my +2 plate armor. Tyler took a page from Kaber's book, and had a rust monster in with the Derro magic user. I didn't even get the pleasure of killing the Beast. However, Rach was so furious that he Dropped his shield, wielded the Katana in both hands, charged the Derro, and scored a Critical for 40 points of damage. He was then nothing but sausage. We then got to fight 11 Orc Berzerkers and Wardancers. Poor rogue started at 48 hp, got hit with a critical, and was at 3 hp, before he could even attack. We won the fight and got some good loot to boot.

I told Kaber you'd accuse me of copying, I had that Rust monster planned for a while. Great minds think of how to screw over the players alike, I suppose, heh.
Yes, I was very disappointed to not see Vera or Chris there. I did appreciate the notice from Olrac that he wouldn't be there, but I would have hoped that other people could post a message or call me or something as well. I've tried to delay doing major plot points until more people are there, but we might just have all the frequent disappearers abducted by the Redneck Trees for a party. Bah.
And we've discovered that my orange die is cursed. I suspected as much. Still, it did manage a crit or two, in addition to the many, many critical misses and failures.

heh, sounds like things went pretty well Rw. I can attest to the fact that Rincewind already had the Rust Monster planned. He remarked on the fact when I introduced mine. ;D
