Also, now maybe we can see Tazz back in the ring. He could bring back the Dudley's to be the Dudley's we grew to love. Bring back Tajiri also, he was one of my favorites.

Just posted today on wrestlezone.com is a article that says that Sabu really hasnt signed a contract. That its all a verbal agreement. But he might be at the Raw show this week to talk about bringing back ECW and all. Even if he didnt sign anythign yet....its all but a certain.
WWE is post to do a WWE-ECW head to head special on USA. this should be very interesting leadign up to the second ECW pay per view.
Heres a interesting article on wwrestlezone.com that i copied and pasted in here:
The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon made the decision to bring back ECW full time after how quickly the tickets for this year's ECW PPV sold, considering the prices for them. Tommy Dreamer made a whole bunch of phone calls to ECW talent about putting a roster together.
It's said that WWE does not have a real plan for ECW yet, and that as of right now they really don't know what they will do with it as far as TV or storylines go.

heres some interesting article from Wrestlezone.com about the ECW revival:
As noted, WWE has entered negotiations to book the former ECW Arena on Saturday 6/24 for an Extreme Championship Wrestling house show in Philadelphia, PA.
WWE is not only looking to book the ECW Arena for a 6/24 ECW show, they are looking to book almost all the former ECW venues for shows. Cities being included are Detroit, Chicago, Poughkeepsie, Buffalo, Cleveland, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Long Island, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
According to several sources, Paul Heyman is not in Louisville, KY tonight for the OVW tapings. Heyman wrote the television show, but Al Snow is in charge of tonight's show as for the former ECW boss is currently in ECW meetings. Al told the wrestlers this morning at the meeting that Paul would be back next week
- The USA Network has the 6/7 9PM-11PM ET timeslot listed as "To Be Announced" right now. As reported earlier, WWE is scheduled to have a WWE vs. ECW Head to Head Special taping in Dayton, OH that night. The show will air live on 6/7.
- Interestingly enough, the Saturday 2AM replay of AM RAW timeslot is being listed as "To Be Announced" for the entire month of June. Many have speculated that WWE might put an ECW show in that timeslot.
- WWE is in negotiations to book the former ECW Arena for a show on 6/24 in Philadelphia, PA. ECW made the former bingo hall famous in the 90s and it became the home of the promotion. The last ECW show held in the arena was on December 23rd, 2000. TNA has already booked the ECW Arena for a show on 6/9 titled "Hardcore War."

heres some more ECW news from wrestlezone.com:
Credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter
Don't be surprised if you see Rob Van Dam cashing in his Monday in the Bank contract against John Bradshaw Layfield for the World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming June ECW pay per view.
In order for this scenario to happen, Mysterio would have to lose the title to JBL before that event took place. RVD has yet to announce who he will face for their title and would not do so until after the title change. Challenging JBL for his title would require RVD to jump to SmackDown.
Reports have also indicated that RVD would be facing the winner of this Sunday's Backlash main event. However, there are a few issues with RVD facing each of the possible winners. Triple H is on the verge of turning face and getting such major negative heat on him conflicts with that. John Cena also doesn't need that negativity while he's already fighting on a weekly basis for the fans approval. Edge has little history with RVD and minimal history with ECW. Edge's only history with ECW was appearing at last year's One Night Stand PPV as part of the anti-ECW crusaders. The leader of that pack was John Bradshaw Layfield. He was the most outspoken about ECW last year and it is expected that his tirade will pick up once again very shortly, making him the perfect target for RVD.

- The June 7, 2006 WWE vs. ECW Head to Head special on the USA Network will feature stars from RAW, SmackDown! and ECW according to a text message issued by the WWE Mobile Phone service.
- If you haven't heard by now, the 2 hour special will be taping in Dayton, Ohio at the Nutter Center and air that night on the USA Network to help promote the ECW One Night Stand PPV event on June 11, 2006.

It's being said that after all the meetings today, Vince McMahon has decided that ECW would take the place of Velocity.
Basically what would happen is, the show would be taped prior to SmackDown! every Tuesday until a new time slot is secured in the United States. For the time being it would only remain an internet property show. Negotiations are going on to attempt to get it on U.S. television.

And it was no surprise that RVD was the other pic. I do see him winnin the title and renamin it. Could see vince rewardin Cena with a new title the followin monday after the ECW pay per view and this will set him down the road as a heel.
