The Flyers lost to New Jersey on sunday 5-1. This put NJ and the Flyers ina tied for 2nd in the division only 1/2 game behidn the Rangers for the division title. All three teams play on tuesday. i believe this is the final regular season game. playoffs start this weekend.
1-Carolina 2-Ottawa 3-NY Rangers 4-Buffalo 5-New Jersey 6-Philadelphia 7-Monteal 8-Tampa Bay

All three Atlantic teams played tonight for the division crown
Flyers: 4 Islanders: 1
NY Rangers: 1 Ottawa: 5
NJ Devils: 4 Montreal: 3
Ottawa got best record in east by beating the Rangers The final standing for the 3 Atlantic teams are: NJ: 101 points 45 wins Philly: 101 points 44 wins NY Rangers: 100 NJ got the tie breaker because they had one more win then the FLyers

The FLyers will be playing the Buffalo Sabres int he first round of the Stanely Cup Playoffs

Hey check that out. The Flyers beat Buffalo wed night. 4-2. The Baffolo coach shouldnt have said that the Flyers played like a bunch of idiots Monday night after that game. Lets see. the FLyers had a bad game. this is a team that was battlin all season for a division title. He backed a wounded dag battle intoa corner. naughty naughty. now look what happened at the Flyers home arena.

On sunday Buffalo beat the Flyers 3-0 to take a 3 games to 2 lead in the series. The Flyers will now have to win the last two games of this series to make it to the next round.
On Friday the Flyers di beat the Sabres 5-4 to tie the series to that time.

The Flyers just got eliminated from the 2006 Stanley Cup layoffs tonight. They lost to Buffalo tonight 7-1 with Buffalo winning the series 4-2 sigh see you guys next year. Check out the daily posts in the playoff room.

Peter Foresberg will be getting surgery for both ankles. this will make him miss the baginning of the upcoming season and might not be back until January 2007.

I heard tonight like 14 Flyers players willb e goin under the knife. Good God. How many players are left on the team to get surgery? argh!!!!!
