hwo about that. the flyers won friday night and since the rangers didnt play the flyers are now the division leaders. yeah
plus at least ten flyers players will be on the USA hockey team for the olymics. congrats

well well well here we all are again. Monday night the flyers won again in a shootout and with a rangers loss exteded their division lead to 3 points. tonight the flyers won in overtime 4-3 but the rangers also won so the lead stays at 3 points. the flyers are also 4 points out of the best record in the whole NHL. this might be the start of the flyers runnings away with the division.
go flyes. give philly something to cheer about.

well the Flyers have played two games since my last post. a win and a OT loss. heres the updated standing for the FLyers:

flyers won again today. Ottawa lost today so that puts the Flyers 1 points behind Ottawa for best record in NHL. this is onle philly team i can at least have som hope for until playoffs.

Just think how good they will be when they get fully healthy. In all honesty, Esche will be traded when he shows he is healthy. Knowing the Philly fans, they have forgotten all about him and will be quite happy with Nittymaki in net. Esche will get you another quality front line scorer or a top line Defenseman. Plus we can trade Primeau and his bad head for some young talent and promote Forsberg to Captain.

oh man do i realize that. we are the best team in the NHL and we are hurt. even though this isnt our best week, we are still the best.
i actually had a Devils fan come up to me at work and give me crap about them beating us mmonday night. hmmmm wait a minute. i look at the standing and i say to myself......self......they might ahve won A battle.....but so far we are winning the war. lol.

well the flyers were lossing 3-1 today into the 3rd period. they tied it up with almost a minute to go but lost it in overtime when they were down a man because of a penelty. sigh bad week. lost 3 out of 4 this week argh. injueries are catchin up maybe

the flyers have had a real back week and half. i think if i remember right that they have only won one game in this stretch. sigh.

wow. the flyers beat the Penquins twice over the weekend and it caused Mario Lemieux to retire again. lol. actually no but it sounds better though. since hi dizziness is getting any better and he is 40, thought it was time to go.

well the womens USA hockey team is now in the semifinals and play sweden friday. Monday will be the gold/silver metal game. pretty much goin to be USA vs Canada. the mens team played their first game today and tied 3-3 the following is the standings goin into the two week olympic break for the flyers division:

the womens USA hockey team brought home the bronze metal in the olympics while the USA mens ice hockey team lost to Russia 5-4. but the mens team will comtinue into the 1/4 finals. onward to the metal
