OK, with it just being released it's terribly confusing for anyone who's trying to go out and buy a new PSP. This is because all the old ones are still on the shelf. If you want a new one right now, the only way is to get the $199.99 "value" pack with some Daxter game and the family guy shows. The core packs being sold right now are all old- the new ones don't come out until the first week or two of October. To make sure which one you are getting, check the serial numbers- anything ending in 1001 is the old PSP, the new ones are 2000. So make sure you know what you're getting before you buy, if at all! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PSP_Slim

I saw the old PSP's on sale used for $130. Can't believe that's all the further the price has fallen on a used system.
I don't own the regular one, probably won't buy a slim. My next big purchase is a new TV. This one I'm using is almost 10 years old and it's starting to act up.
Every night at midnight, the tv powers itself down. Really annoying in the middle of a movie.

Actually, the used price on the old ones was lower than that- Gamestop was selling them for $100. Tempting.
I'd wait until Black Friday to get a new TV. That's when we got our TV/computer monitor.

I am posting this with my PSP. Difficult, but it could be worse. Neat, eh?

That's cool. You have a wireless network at home? I didn't know the PSP could do that.
