I was not at all disappointed with this one. It moved at a decent pace, there was plenty of death and it wasn't even a 10th as corny as the Blade movies. Actually, it was almost believable. Oh yeah, in case none of that made sense, the movie is about vampires in Alaska, where there is 30 days with no sun in the winter time.

glad it wasn't corney. I wasn't sure about this one. Seemed like a good new take on an old movie stalwart. Glad you liked it, I'll have to check it out.

If you have Fearnet On Demand then you can check out a 20 minute prequile. It was kind of cool.

Dangit, more technojumble talk. I don't get all of this new fangled stuff like on-demand, pay per view, railroads. Grampy don't like progress <hits keyboard w/ stick then continues to chew on raw possum>

Finally saw this movie.
I have to say, this is one of the few non-corny horror movies out there. The characters actually did intelligent things in trying to avoid and fight the vampires. None of the cheesy, I separate myself from the group and walk down a dark hallway alone.
I thought it was pretty believable. One thing though, how did they get there and where did they hide during the daytime in traveling there? That wasn't well explained. Also, how did they steal everyone's cell phones?
