I get a kick out of the Google ads that pop up there. Since I posted about getting children eye exams, now there's one for "The Eye Patch Club." Anyway, this one really caught my eye: Train to be a Witch Wicca Degree Programs, Attainment & Advanced Wiccan Certification. www.workingwitches.com/?source=GWICI wonder how that degree looks on a resume? "Hm, you're applying for the store supervisor job... and you've got a degree in potions..." Hehe. EDIT: changed title to express the content more clearly.

Some of the advertisements we get are pretty ridiculous. As to schools claiming to "make you a witch", or "wiccan degrees"; the majority are pretty much scams. You could go to my website and learn just as much, if not more, and it's free.
Most of the USA does recognize Wicca as a religion, but a High Priest or High Priestess cannot legally marry anyone. Oh, you can have them officiate a Handfasting, but you'll still need to go to someone else who can perform legal marriages to be recognized by your state. Makes no sense to me, since Christian marriages are legal, but not Pagan ones?
