I have made the greatest trade in Phillies history. Of course it will never happen. We trade Abreu, Bell and Leiber to the NY Yankees for A Rod. They need a corner outfielder and George was making bad comments about A Rod. I think it's a win win for both clubs. Victorino will be so much better than Abreu in right.

Also as of right now, just checked, the Phillies are now a half game behind the Reds for the wildcard lead in the National League. This is why i wouldnt trade anyone as of right now. This team is playin as a team.

The Phillies had off tonight.
Saw a good interview with Rowand, our center fielder who sacrificed himself and broke his nose catching a ball to center, saving the game. If u remember Ricky Waters little interview after a Eagles game back in 1995, they asked him why he wont jump up and catch a ball in the middle. and he said why should he risk hurting himself. For who? For What? Well, Rowand today said, "For Who? My teammates. For What? To win." This guy is a class act and a true Philadelphia player.

Article i found explaining why Hamels was taken out of the line-up tuesday ngiht:
Hamels scratched from scheduled start Wednesday night NEW YORK (AP) -- Rookie pitcher Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies experienced soreness in the back of his left shoulder while throwing in the outfield Tuesday and was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday night against the New York Mets.
Hamels will return to Philadelphia on Wednesday for an evaluation. To replace him, the Phillies will start Jon Lieber against the Mets on Wednesday, with Brett Myers going Thursday afternoon.
Hamels has started two games for the Phillies since being called up from Triple-A on May 12. He has no decisions and a 3.18 ERA.
