OK, I know schedules get hairy around the holidays, but let's see.
The normal game day would be the 19th, the 3rd Sunday of December. Does this work for people? Would another day be better?

My parents will be gone that weekend, so I'm essentially forced to have no plans. I can make it to the 19th (with gifts of food).

Yeah, there still isn't a sunday in december that works for me, but please don't let me stop you guys from playing. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into it in January.

Well, I talked to my brother and he should be able to join us on the 19th, so we should be able to have a bit of a dungeon crawl on the 19th here. We'd like to host a game at our new house, so if you need directions, PM me!

OK, so LGG3 will be this coming Sunday the 19th (one week from me posting this) 12-5 at my house. I need to work with my brother on character creation guidelines and character history and we should be good to go, see you then!

I'm back from the dead on this blog. I'm in for Sunday. I'll look up the character creation requirements and hope to be back up to speed somewhat. I'm out of things for 2 years now and am probably a bit rusty.

For your reference, our current party makeup:
A battlefield control-based psion (this guy) A support-focused favored soul (Kevin) A mounted combat-based fighter (Nick, not here this month)

Quite an interesting session. I personally liked my idea of collapsing the tunnel, so the dark ones can't bring anymore people down. Sadly I had to rely on the psion to do it. St. Cuthbert loves me again, as before we left I decided to attempt 2 more attempts at Break Enchantment, and got BOTH, Ungrim and Hank back to normal.
However it is worse than we thought, we seemed to have been in Hell for 3 years, and the Land is more or less a waste-land from the Dark Ones. I made a journey to Quo and defeated a Red Dragon all by myself, OK it was an Insane Wizard, shape-shifted into one an gone insane. Glad I took Greater Restoration, and cured his insanity before he ate me. Alas Quo is no more. So Ungrim has no Pact to worry about signing, just the Church.
The lone remaining Wizard, that I know about and I, are going to Wind-walk at night and see if we can find the local nest of this batch of Dark Ones.
Sean is a Monk, and James is a Crazy rogue. I know Ungrim is Insane from something, however this Rogue is Crazy that I can't cure. LOL
OH yeah, the Queen is currently in the Keep, we are at. Cedric is missing, but the Psion did a divination, and sort of has a location for him. And Raban/Cedric's Mage seem to have gone missing. So we did get that part right. ;D

It was a rough first game to get into. Always hard to find your place when the party splits like that. I'll try to get up on the story line a bit since my guy apparently has lived through this 3 year gap the others experienced.
I'm more rusty with the game mechanics than I thought I was. I have some reading ahead of me for sure.

Sorry about splitting the party like that. Normally I don't even think of that. However, as much as the world seemed to change, I really felt the need to get to Quo, and try and get the Wizards help. That didn't turn out well, and couldn't even get you and James good equipment.
Quo is a tricky spot to go to, and I felt it easier to scout ahead. Although, I still want to know how the Red Dragon hit me in Wind-walk form. I guess Tyler thought I would transform back and walk in.

I totally understand. In your position, I would have done the same thing. Just an awkward game to jump in on. We'll get it all sorted out next time. Don't fret too much about equipment for me. I'm actually much more powerful without arms and armor anyway and I have decent bracers/rings/etc right now.
Good to see you again Dragonsrule, it's been a long time!

So, the monk will continue to chop and collect wood in the surrounding area. He is hoping to keep himself fit and learn the surrounding terrain in the process, as well as collect intel from the other woodsmen in the process.
