OK, day for this month should be September 25th, if I am counting correctly.
Does this work OK for everyone?

Given last game, and the time involved in either reincarnation/resurrection or the impossibility of either, I don't know if during a night-long combat is the best time to introduce a new character. I'm talking with Dmitri, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to have a character involved in the game next session. If not, I'll just read the write-up on the board.

OK all, what with Freas being perma-dead, it looks like a good time for me to drop out. I've been taking an hour off work for every game for the last year so that I can get to the game an hour late, and it's just not working out well. So have fun, and for anyone who only knows me through Freas, I'm deeply sorry

As I was working on some things with Dave, it occurred to me that since we PC's have not really been using the boards to rp with each other and that some of us in the group are more introverted, tending to fade easily into the woodwork...it might be beneficial to share some things about where we're at as characters at this current juncture. (Especially having missed several games...I feel very out of touch)
So, pretty much, why not share a little bit about Ayvlen? As you know, she is a bit quiet. When it comes to decision-making she tends to stand on the sideline, providing support when needed, but delights in really "showing her stuff" in battle.
Here is where she stands: Ayvlen feels that what defines her most now are the relationships that she has formed with her companions. Coming to Scatha's school was a time of deep revelation and spiritual awakening for her, particularly regarding who she really is (that she has a purpose and was given unique abilities to carry out that purpose) and what is important to her (carrying out their mission/destiny in service to her friends and for the purpose of making things "right"). Ayvlen began as a closed off, naive youth on a mission to find the woman who gave her her wretched life, mostly to confront her. She has gained an intense awareness of herself and the world around her, no longer feeling self conscious, helpless and alone, or afraid. She has accepted that her old life is gone and that she will probably never learn the answers to the questions that caused her to step out onto the path that has led her here in the first place. While she will never forget her that part of her life and regrets nothing about it, it seems dim and pale in comparison to the present reality. What matters most, and indeed what has always mattered from the very beginning though she did not know it, is the present and imminent future. She would follow Paden, Balla, and Valel into the pits of hell and further. She loves them and desires most to aid and strengthen the group in a harmonious manner.

I am working on mine. I will add it to Paden's original description in the LGG5 subboard.
