Sup, fools. I've decided to join you guys, having received approval from Rincewind. www.carpedm.name/profiler/view.php?id=49This is my character. Timo is a halfling who acts far more like a gnome. He's extremely curious, enjoys messing with small parts, be it traps or otherwise, and enjoys gems and gold more for their beauty than their worth. He's never known a clan other than his thieves' guild, but he nonetheless has the halfling sense of loyalty that comes from having a clan. When his respect is earned, he's extremely loyal. I'll be showing up at the may game, then. Hope to see you guys there.

Is that your current character sheet? I don't understand some of the stuff, like Power Attack, but especially the level 8 part. Is that what you are supposed to be? Just making sure, and making sure you didn't misunderstand Rince or something.
Glad to have you, and looking forward to the May game! Just to make sure, it is on the 3rd Sunday, right? Mother's Day is the 2nd Sunday, so I think we are clear for this.

Yeah, I thought I had said in the message to update yourself to level 10, so you might want to do that.
I've actually been wanting to post about May- I want to go to some more Continuing Education and was thinking about some that's the 3rd Sunday. Would the 1st or the 4th Sunday be better if we moved it?

I think I did update him to level 10, I just forgot to change the level field. Yeah, that's definitely what it was, looking at the skill points and HP.
PS: I took Power Attack because it's a prereq to Improved Sunder, something I find very useful for rogues facing heavily-armored foes. I don't find the feat itself especially useful for a rogue.

Ah... I missed improved sunder. Never tried that before with a rogue. BTW, what is crippling strike? Just a curiosity question.
Yea, power attack with a rogue using a light weapon is meaningless - light weapons take the penalty without a benefit. I had a dagger rogue that I tried to take PA with back in the day... my DM laughed at me, and gently explained my stupidity. Anyway, cool - we have a rogue again!
Oh, and 1st Sunday works for me as far as I can tell, and 4th probably does, though that is my game weekend, so might want to check with Tom to be sure.

Crippling Strike is one of the rogue's special abilities. It deals 2 strength damage whenever I hit with a sneak attack.
By the way, I looked up Improved Sunder. I'm as much of a dumbass for taking it as I was for taking Power Attack (-4 for light weapon rolls).
Swapped it out for Hamstring (exchange 2d6 sneak attack to halve movement speed) and Combat Expertise as a prereq for awesome maneuver stuffs.

Yeah, I was rather wondering how a lightly-weaponed rogue was going to use Sunder, but I thought we'd have rather a lot of fun seeing you try, hehe. Good swap there. Yeah, it's 12-5 on Sundays, and it's looking like the 4th Sunday of the month again.

so, the 24th then? Also, not beat a dead horse over point already made, but you can't sunder worn armor, unless you're a rust monster, or a bebilith. You aren't those right? So sunder won't help you beat down on those +5 full plate wearing Red Wyrms that are around 10 CR higher than the party level. Grrr.

Steve,
The bracers of Armor and the Studded leather armor are both Armor type bonuses, thus they don't stack. Sorry.
