Name: Festivia Fishplinger Race: Halfling Class: Paladin Alignment: Lawful Good Deity: Tyr Height: 3 feet Weight: 43 pounds Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown Size: Small Age: 35 years Gender:Female Str: 17+3 Dex: 15+2 Con: 17+3 Int: 14+2 Wis: 17+3 Cha: 16+3 Weapons: Holy Avenger +2 Dagger Sling Animal: Pony; Female, Name: Chloe Armor/Clothing: Chain Shirt -goes down to her ankles and is tied off with leather thongs Common Gown Closefaced Helmet Belt Bandolier Belt Background Story: Festivia is from the Ten Towns area and helps run the family owned fish shop and scrimshaw emporium. She took over crafting the scrimshaw from her cousin. Being a typical halfling, she was one to love sweets; pastries and pies being her favorite. While berry gathering (to make pies) in the surrounding woods, she started to hear ominous growling sounds. Rounding a tree, she sees a Barghest; throws her basket full of berries at the beast and starts running towards town, or so she thinks. Stumbling upon the body of a paladin which the beast had already slain, Festivia attempts to lift the paladin's sword. The sword, being rather heavy, and larger than herself, makes her fall backward upon the ground....just as the Barghest leaps at her. It falls on Festivia, but ends up impaling itself upon the sword, dying instantly. Crawling out from under the dead beast, she finds herself grasping the paladin's holy symbol in one of her small hands. She sees her being saved as a sign, from the paladin's god, Tyr, that she must follow the way of the paladin, and give up her former ungoodly ways; a chance at redemption. Festivia puts on whatever armor she can fit upon her body, but its human size causes her problems at times. One such occurence is the faceplate on the helmet falling at the most inopportune moments *CLANG!!!*, and tends to fall backwards when trying to wield her sword, a Holy Avenger. It is only a +2 sword, as Tyr believes she needs to further earn the full power of the sword dependent on Festivia's good deeds. She has two companions, her pony Chloe, and the ever present ghost of the paladin who has been charged with keeping an eye upon Tyr's newest recruits. Festivia and the Paladin's Ghost

His mother having been slightly shunned by the village for mating with a traveling Human minstrel that passed through the region every three to six months, and thusly, her offspring being a lesser citizen was left at a nearby Human hamlet of Great Widow's Bend, upon his mother's death. Here he was taken in by the local mage and her paramour, Saundra Greenton and Vancel Swinetock. Greenton's ability to know about the hamlet's inhabitants, new arrivals, details that she should not know about and raiding parties were both a blessing to and a point of contention with the small community members. Despite Greenton's proclivities, Tarren became interested in music and performances of another parishioner, Bauldin Vinefine, the local bard. And at the age of 19, Tarren stole Pan Pipes from Bauldin and left the Hamlet forever. Through his travels and performances, he was able to acquire his other items. However, he still has a fascination to learn and hone the skills Greenton was trying to teach him. Because learning one's secrets without their knowledge could be advantageous in so many different ways. [ NOTE: Tarren is like Han Solo/Robin Hood Men in Tights hybrid].

Very general backstory: Garrett was raised by his mother, who was a member of a wandering merchants caravan, much like the gypsies of early modern Europe. He never knew his father, who was a "towny," as his mother called him. They only rarely spoke of him, though his mother seemed to harbor no ill will towards Garrett's father.
They traveled around the country, stopping in towns to buy supplies that they could not make on their own, and to sell their wares that they produced, mostly tin goods and crafts of wood, leather, and textiles. They dealt with many kinds of people, giving Garrett the opportunity and reason to learn the languages of the people with which they did business. Garrett often got into trouble when they stopped into town, because he was very good at remaining unseen and silent, and seemed to be almost supernaturally nimble and quick-witted. On more than one occasion he was forced to flee along the rooftops of the town, hiding until he could eventually make his way back to the caravan.
When he came of age, Garrett decided to leave the caravan and find his own way, a decision that his mother fully supported. She told him he was welcome back whenever he wanted to visit, but he doesn't want to return until he has something to show for himself.
