And thanx MH for giving us all a place to meet and grow as gamers. Good luck Megaprophet on your new gameing group. May it be a success. I think his name is still Magephophet darling. But who knows, if he becomes a millionaire, will that make him a Mega-profit?

Will you take an outoftown player? Czaralex can hook up a digital cam feed and teamspeak or ventrilo. I'm a reasonably experienced gamer and would like to play.

Actually, though I can never be sure, I think it's Mageprophet, but Megaprophet has an uncanny ring to it "What's that, the sound of chiming in? That must be Lisa Simpson with the answer to a question NOBODY ASKED!!!!" Ned Flanders

Wow, I have a friend in Utah that I always wanted to do that with. We used to game all the time and now I live in PA. If you guys pulled that off I would love to get some ideas on how you do it.

Wow, I have a friend in Utah that I always wanted to do that with. We used to game all the time and now I live in PA. If you guys pulled that off I would love to get some ideas on how you do it. It's not difficult, really. Ventrilo and Teamspeak are fairly simple to use. I'm more familiar with Ventrilo than Teamspeak, but they're not all that different. The admin sets up a few channels (i.e. a round table and a couple of private spots for when the party gets split up), and you can drag and drop your name from channel to channel. All the players need is the client software (easy to install), and a microphone and speakers (a headset works very nicely). Each user defines a keyboard key to toggle into speaking mode, and whenever you're not holding that key, you're in listen mode by default, a similar setup as walkie talkies. For video, there's several webcam progs out there. You'll probably end up with a different window per player, but that's liveable. Some webcam progs also do chat, but they're mostly phone style one one one convos. I don't know of a webcam conference program the way Ventrilo and Teamspeak do it. For dice rolls and such, there's places online that'll store dice rolls for others to view. Or czaralex and I are programmers on a few moos (mudd variant), and can set up a room with dice there. One of our friends, another progger in the same group, already has a dice system progged into a moo. So the systems are all out there. Download 'em and have some fun!

Ooohhhh and your programers as well. HEh well, I always wanted to learn C++ just to prog my oun Photoshop filters but I need a good free compiler and the time. I think I'll stick to Digital painting and Graphic Design.
Now as for the other thing...Hmmm......If I could con LWW out of her Laptop for a session and then I could.........yes......YES! Ahhahaha the world will soon be mine. I mean.....That would be kewl.
