i thought it would be kind of neat and help us play our characters better if we had a story for them. I think we should post up maybe a history of our character or the entire record sheet with some reasons for the way they do stuff ect ect. heck who knows maybe some bigshot producer will see this and make our game into some lame movie starring Corey Feldman or Corey Haim or (insert washed out 80s actor here) just a thought. So if you want get posting (Robbie i believe this would help you out alot)

Aha. I knew I'd done that already, it was under Notes to the DM. But here's a repost, with updates since this was done after the first game Locksley participated in.
Locksley- 5'4" tall, vaguely rodent-like in appearance, pointed nose, piercing blue eyes and jet-black hair.
His first memories are from an orphanage in Sarago. Faced with slim prospects of adoption and bullied by the larger children, he dreamed of a better future for himself. One day, a wandering street performer, doing simple magic and slight-of-hand tricks, was trying to earn money across the street. The children all watched him through cracks in the wall, and Locksley became enchanted by the wondrous tricks that were performed. He ran away from the orphanage at the age of ten, and found himself on the streets, begging for food and stealing it when none could be found.
A local gang of thieves soon noticed his nimble movements and he was recruited to act as a lookout and pickpocket with a group of street urchins. He was one of the best pickpockets they had seen, and soon was a respected member of the group. Yet still he thought of that street magician, and yearned for some magic in his life. He could now flawlessly palm coins and do other simple "magic" tricks, but knew that there was no-one who would teach true magic to a poor street rat.
From then on, he began a quest to amass enough money that he could hire an arcanist, any mage, who could teach him the secret ways of magic. He often gravitated toward the magic-users he met, to try to judge their personalities and see if they might be willing to teach him something. He was often disappointed, but continued watching them to try to learn something on his own.
Realizing that he couldn't get anywhere on his own as a member of the gang, Locksley arranged to buy his way out and pay them a percentage of his take in the future as long as he remained in the city. This took most of his savings, but some still remained. And so, one fateful day, he espied two people running through the streets, one of whom almost HAD to be a mage in that dres.. er, robe.., and followed them...
He has been lucky enough to find a teacher in Cigam, and has blended his love of magic with his penchant for thievery and become an illusionist. He has a fondness for elves, with their magical, dexterous natures, particularly because it is primarily elves who have been his teachers and friends since leaving Sarago. He plans to find a way to fully combine his magic with his thievery at some point, and currently gets great enjoyment from being invisible. This is at least partly because he feels hunted, because his former friends in the thieves' guild have turned against him. One day he will be able to change that, but for now he wanders with the party, learning more about the use of magic and the ways of the world.

hmm Cigam brown hair, 5 feet even 115 pounds. 154 years old.
before;wearing traveling elven clothing.high tread count cloak, with elegant long sleeve shirt with images of a crescent moon and magic symbols, longs swords and bows. and a blue green pants/ with boots.
NOW; after talking with the mystic he is enthralled with is culture. now wears more what Ranna wears but with earth tones, and his cloak reflects his status with the elven comunity, an aspiring cleric of C.L. and wizards. a great thinker and a soon to be savant, knowing all common knowledge about anything. (aka stars runes, crescent moons, books, "the thinker", and a well though message all along the border of his cloak.) and yeah those awesome chines shoes. lol
even at a young age his thirty for knowledge and understanding was unquenchable. reading books after books, trying new things out, in fact trying everything out. his long live span and short resting times, allowed him to live for several human lives. leaving little he has not either read or tryed out. but His love for magic grew and grew and grew, to the point he spent the last 20 years studding it, in all it forms. both divine and arcane.
As for religion corellon larethian was a common chose, beening the god of elves, war and the wonderful art form of magic. this lead him to a desire to defend the elven community, and is now worry at it safety now, maybe he shouldn't have come back soo soon.
but he does want to learn about the one who keeps magic in check ( mystra, forgotten realm) he heard of a goddess who keep the weave of magic in check, and fixes it problem ( or tryies) she has a hand in every one who cast magic, both divine and arcane. and will find out more of her as time goes by.

Shiv is of a slighter build than most trained fighters. His emphasis has always been to move first and strike first. Speed is his greatest asset, and the ability to use it to confound his foes on the battlefield. In battle, his primary priority is to protect and relieve his companions. Justice is never served by needless deaths. Appart from a land speed that rivals horses (not quite, one day), Shiv bears a few other distinctive qualities. While technically a traitor to the crown, Shiv remains loyal to the true spirit of law and order, a thing which the monarchy, in the hands of a vile usurper, has twisted into an ugly perversion of the meaning of justice. Standing a mere 5'7, Shiv is easily recognizable for the blood-red color of his irises. Though not of a particularly auspicious nature, recent "accidental" encounters and their aftermath have found Shiv holding a very peculiar weapon of almost mythic character. Though he fails to understand the depths of the blade's potential, it is clear to him that this sword carries at least some piece of his true destiny.

The Druid Rawl
Rawl's parents were rangers on assignment by the elven nation to keep tabs on the goings on in the woods around the city of Sarago. Raised in the woods, he was quite at home there. His parents were killed by evil denizens of the forest while on patrol there prior to Rawl taking up the ranger career they shared. Hurt and confused, he was approached by the druids in the area who had been watching him for some time and took him under their wing.
With a new found purpose given by the Druids and a burning need to find out more in regards to the circumstances of his parents death, he has remained in the forest surrounding Sarago for some time now, only returning to his elven brethren to resupply and visit extended family.
The druids had become concerned with the disappearance of the true king and the state of affairs that Sarago was left in as a result of this. Rawl, being a neophyte in the Druid Council, was selected to infiltrate the city and to discover what he could about the whereabouts of the true king.
While on assignment in the city, he happened upon the most curious of people in Locksley, Cigam, Ryle and Shiv. Being nothing more than intrigued by their behavior, little did he know that Obad-hai was guiding his feet towards the completion of his mission. Since finding them, the party has changed quite a bit. Rawl often leaves the party to commune with nature and meet and report to the Druid Council. Amazingly, he always seems to find his way back to them.
After restoring the true King, Rawl received disturbing news. The evil denizens of the woods, which he first thought were alone the minions of the Witch, are now believed to be the result of a band of evil Druids operating in the woods. With his growing roll in the Druid Council, his superiors have now charged him with the investigation of these Dark Druids and their assumed alliance with the Witch. Could these Druids and the Witch be the culprits of his parents death. Only time will tell. For now, he is following his party to find the Fox's treasure to aid them in their quest.
Only time will unlock these mysteries for him.

Ok, I see backgrounds for Shiv, Lockley, Rawl and Cigam. We are still missing ones from Robbie, Kevin and Julie. I think this would be very beneficial to do...helps with the role playing. I know that Kevin's character has an extensive background created, that we've found out through game play. Any chance we can get these before the game on Sunday?? Antioch

Aramor felt a calling at a very young age, 90. He traveled to the main Elf city to study. While there he found he just did not have the patience for clerical studies. He did however get into a few fights over his beliefs. At this point the trainers showed him the benefits of being a Paladin of Corellon. He could fight for his beliefs and still use his divine magic that came naturally to him. He remembers his father being a very regal looking person. His father disappeared around the time he turned 20. He was told his father went to fight a Dragon that was terrorizing the country side to the north of the village. He knows there is something special about him, but is not quite sure. At certain times he feels he has gained certain benefits and is not quite sure why this is. On a trip home, after being away for 45 years, he learns that his mother had given birth to a brother. However she gave him away as she was raped by a savage human, and didn't want the village to be constantly staring at her or her son. Upon hearing this, Aramor was livid and gave his mother a lecture about how prejudice was a Human thing and did not belong in an Elf's way of thinking. About this time a band of adventurers came bearing the sad news that Raven was dead. He died trying to put the rightful King back on the throne. Aramor, seeing such a badly equipped band of adventurers has joined them to complete his brothers quest. He also wants to make sure that the King will allow freedom to all people and not be overly lawful or oppressive. He is now with the adventurers looking for some Fox's treasure. He does seemed confused as he thought only dragons had treasures. He is also hoping to find a way to figure out his strange feelings he has about his lineage.

Name: Ryle Age: 15 Height: 6ft weight: 155 Hair: Blonde Skin: Tanish (slowly becoming darker) Eyse: both gold in color (heh lucky me)
Tall and slender wearing light flowing purple robes his hair is tied back with two strands on each side of his face he carries 1 dagger 1 spear 1 mace and a few hidden things as well his words flow like honey or can boom like thunder
Ryle born of lesser blood and raised in an uncaring house. Left home at a very young age to live on the streets finding more comfort in a graveyard than an actual house he befriended the undertaker, actually making his himself seem as though some kind of creature of the night he "haunted" the graveyard and all who tresspassed. knowing far too well how different he was he just wanted to be accecpted, while playing in the crypt he came upon an old book left in one of the tombs describing the most wonderful thing he could imagine the undead goddess of love and beauty evening glory form this day on he desired to one day be by her side no matter the cost, the undertaker, slightly disturbed, helped the child further understand the powers of undeath, believe it or not for good use.
After a few years Ryle began to understand how truly "special" he was and that his dark power was something he was born with not something he aquired. It was this that led him to believe all of this was his destiny to be with her. Everything he would do from that day on would be out of love for her.
The matters that pertained to sarago meant little to him but news of another goddess of death infuriated him to no ends he seeks out the information he needs to understand the current situation and joined U.P.A.T. after "befriending an elf he managed to get in trouble with the "law" but not all was as it seemed for Ryle soon enough he was in way over his head making some good friends losing others and making some very bad enimies.
But in the war of love many battles and hardships shall occur before he can be happy. Currently he has a pact with a demon and is slowly being consumed by the shadow realm all the while he fights for what he believes is right and for his own happiness. No matter what happens in the end he will have what he desires.

Sure, it was a great idea by him. Did you notice he was one of the last to do his. I am a habitual proscastinator so I had an excuse, to have to be reminded.

Locksley has become a true elf-friend and, in walking their path, has acquired many of the abilities of the elves, including their enhanced night vision and keen senses. He now knows how he can combine his skills as a rogue and a wizard to make something few have ever seen. And with the money he's tucked away and the recent pirate treasures, he wants to find some items which can improve his mind so that he may better use his magical abilities to defend himself, his friends, and the Elven lands.
