This site is actually completely serious, but I think that most people with two brain cells to bang together will see the huge inherent problems with the product they're offering. I got a horrified laugh just contemplating it. www.lasikathome.com/For those of you too lazy to click the link, a quick synopsis: Why pay surgeons big bucks to operate on your eyes when you can do it yourself at home with our tools? I sure as heck can't see any drawbacks there Just in case it's not obvious, I in no way endorse this product. But I am getting about 10 e-mails a day from optometrists who think it's hilarious, fraudulent, illegal, horrifying and anything in-between.

Man, that is scary. But I think it is a joke.

Yea, now I can destroy my own eyes in the privacy of my own home. What next, the home amputation kit...

Wow, I'm shocked the website is still up and running. I would have thought they'd have fled to Argentina by now.

Well, that would only have happened if someone actually used their product and consequently had a legitimate reason to sue them to argentina.
