Well... most metal fans will argue that a few of the bands you listed aren't metal (AC/DC, Deep Purple, and some will even say Motorhead)... but you seem to like the more traditional heavy metal. Your name makes me think of a band you may like... Dragonforce. They're a very fast power metal band. Black Winter Night is my favorite song of theirs. Kaber and I purchased Dragonforce's 2004 album, "Sonic Firestorm"......and wished we hadn't. While this group does have imagination for lyrics, have good voices and can harmonize well, they need to learn to play their instruments. What I mean by that is, starting with song 1, each instrument is playing a set of notes and/or beats, and it is like they recorded this one set and copied it for each song (except for the ballads). When it comes to music itself, Dragonforce has no imagination whatsoever. Singing and Lyrics - B Musical Composition - D Which makes this band average.

OMG, I actually found an old Cassette, yes a cassette, of an old 80's Hair metal band from Central PA. They actually had some decent songs. How many here remember KIX, I know I'm the oldie here but I actually remember seeing them Live in concert.
