Closure
Sitting still upon the warm sand, Knowing I will not ever feel your hand, The pain you sent into my skin, Pretending it was love, not a sin.
Rising, walk the beach, feel the sun, Inflicting pain was your total fun, I have found a love that is wondrously pure, Now, forgetting you is the final cure.
The papers were signed; you took your things, A pittance of coin for simple rings, The photos are tossed, the dress set afire, A marriage of hell destroyed on a pyre.
Goodbye to you, and the memories too, Goodbye to hate meant only for you, The ocean laps at my walking feet, Releasing from my heart, the coldest sleet.
In the distance, I see him wait, Hunger for love, only he can sate, New love, new life, new future, The past is complete; closure.

Happy Birthday to You
Past days have gone by. Into the future does time fly. Present is just a fleeting moment. Blink, time has just been spent.
Regret, over choices done poorly. Worry, over what comes newly. Enjoy the now, for what it is worth. Light the world with a smile of mirth.
Today is a birthday of someone, somewhere. A joyous celebration showing we care. Acknowledge the day with a shout of hurray. For you will get the same on your birthday.

Desires
Fire is lit, embers aglow. Flicking shadows, seductive shapes flow. Walk to me slowly, take a hand. Place it against, you, hardness of man.
Glint of light, eyes of lust. Sating desire, a physical must. Lips caressing, intake of breath. Swaying bodies, the dance is set.
Gently lying, furs upon the ground. Fingers smoothing, hips softly round. Dew forming, beading on skin. Deeply in love, nothing a sin.
Mutual desires, ever a wanting. Fire rising, temperatures mounting. Moaning, enjoy being pleasured. This eternal desire, never to be measured.
Always as lovers, we have lived before. As each life passes, our desires grow more. Seeking, finding each other, with a kiss it is sealed. Feeling the desires within us, our love is forever real.

Unwanted Child
Tiny creature, fragile and frail, Breath of life, boisterous wail, Looks of contempt, hatred of it, Upon a little face, wadding of spit.
Illness came, please die she prayed, Begging of him, when it is gone please stay, But wellness came, so away to another he went, Anger abounding, the mother screamed till spent.
The creature grew, became stronger, Asking for love, but mother was colder, Never did I want you, she told the being, You have ruined my life, now beyond meaning.
Every day, same old saying, Never wanted you, your death I have been praying, No words of love or endearment, no kindness at all, Depression hovered, but creature did not fall.
Many a year went by, father was found, Death had taken him, now sealed within a burial mound, Why did you not want me, the creature cried, Was I so bad, for refusing to die?

House of Haunts
Windows cracked, blackened by mold, Struggling fly, spider’s web does hold, Creaking of boards, warped by time, Glistening in moonlight, sheen of slime.
Wispy mist, aura of greenish hue, Leaves a trail, morning snail’s dew, Walls cry, in depressive moans, Wail of loss, for abandoned homes.
Remembrance, light footfalls upon stairs, Children’s laughter, time of little cares, Music set the pace, dance at a galore ball, Happiness, flowing round the grand hall.
Death comes, merciless in swiftness, Limbs useless, muscles bound in stiffness, Tears and pain, destruction of mirth, Child within womb, never to see birth.
Souls come forth, deny the light, Ethereal beings, aghast at a sight, Hollowed bodies, once full of life, Mournful sound, the funeral fife.
Grand mansion unclaimed, falls into ruin, Curious seekers, brave to venture within, Ghostly visions, all that remain, Once joyful lives, now only haunted by pain.

Verrry nice love. Especially the first two paragraphs. I can really get a sence of the place. I can almost smell the decay, the musk of snail slime and green mold. I don't find it scary but a little spooky and forelorn, 5 stars. ;D

Darkness Embraced
She stands tall, arms outstretched, palms upward. Black gown flows, lace at collar and cuffs. Cast iron cemetery gate open, freedom beckons. Madness within her mind; a prison for one’s self.
Slowly, she walks among the graves. Reading names, tries to imagine the faces. Thoughts in chaos; frustration at what she does not understand. Lashing out, shrieking voice carried by the wind.
Vampire she calls herself, excuse for her weakness. Emotional neediness, saps strength from victims. Spoiled, vain woman seeks our attention. Stamps her foot, threatens to withhold pleasures.
She screams, “Love me now, or I will destroy”. Suddenly pleading, “Forgive me, I am stressed”. Hangs on to those who stroke her ego. Bans those from her life, who refuse to kneel.
Emotional vampire, desires life force from others. Whines of her pitiful life, feeds upon sympathies. Tightens the circle, tightens bonds upon the unknowing. Hides in the night’s soft embrace, hides in darkness, darkness embraced.
