It seems so often that people (at least myself and those I know) invent comfort where it otherwise should not exist, by either accepting what formerly upset them as OK, or by redefining themselves to fit in a place they ordinarily would want no part of. Knowing that this type of "comfort" always leaves me feeling unfulfilled is reason enough to agree at least on some level with the all encompassing importance of truth. Of course, what is truth? For, what IS my truth may not be true to you, it could even be a lie.

I respectfully disagree with Grond's assertion above, but decline to get into an argument here because he is so wonderful a gentlemen (and the fear of banning from the admins helps my decision, too!)

Hmm....I think I know what grond means but perhaps could better defined. I'm not sure if I agree or not.

Well Kaber, if you know, that makes one of us. No disagreement with me on philosophy will be treated unkindly, at least not by me. I have no feelings, much less hurt ones. Because truth and fact don't always run together, wait. . . which part are we disagreeing with, the explanation of my view, or the non-sense that followed it?
