I am taking full credit for the Phillies having a 4 game winning streak now. Went down to the game with family, got great seats too. When the Braves scored in the top of the 8th, decided to avoid the crowd and traffic and headed for the car. No sooner do we get in and get the radio to the game and BAMMMMM Aaron Rowand hits the 2 run HR. I knew as soon as I left the stadium the Phils would find a way to make me regret leaving early.

The Phillies beat the San Fran Giants friday night 8-3. Bonds didnt hit a home run, let alone get a hit. but Phillies first baseman Howard went 2-4 with two home runs

the Phillies beat the Giants again tonight 4-1 for their 7th win in a row. Bonds went homerless again tonight against the phillies

Yeah, but the Braves are stinking it up against the Mets. So now we can't take the division lead by Wednesday. I would have been nice.

The Phillies had off Monday, May 8th. They will be playing the NY Mets Tuesday night to try to continue their hot streak. As of right now they have a 8 game winning streak.

No this is the year, they at least make the playoffs. I figure 2010 to win the series. 30 years sounds right for the next one, since last win was 1980.

And then they were brought back down to earth, The Mets beat the Phillies 14-3 Wed night in a ugly game. The Phillies are now 4 games behind the Mets for first place in the National League East.

The Phillies beat the Mets tonight in a rain shorten game: 2-0. The Phillies center fielder, Rowand, caught a fly ball in the top of the 1st and ran into the wall breakin his nose yet still held onto the ball.

In Hamels Major league debut in friday nights Phillies-Reds game, he went 5 innings and had 7 strikeouts. The Phillies ended up beating the Reds 8-4. The Mets also lost tonight putting the pHillies 3 games behind them for first place.
