Please put all your OOC comments here regarding Adventure #1.
To start the adventure off I will put the characters in a general neutral position just so I have a common ground to start the game off on. If your character is hiding or is not with the rest of the group let me know what you are doing via PM or here so I can make adjustments to the setup of the adventure. After doing so the characters are free to interact with each other as they wish.
I'm trying to fight off this cold and cat allergies but I'll try and have the adventure up tomorrow afternoon or evening.
Thank you.

OOC for challenger calm your arrogance down a bit I really don't feel like getting my cleric killed over you already.

Yes please. I don't like party fights, but your character would be at a disadvantage against me

Yeah, it's sounding like it's everyone else vs. you. I think we'd squish you and move on rather than deal with the drama.

Agreed with MH, though my name sake is far more brutal and final. Also, agreed with the rest, lets try to keep party joining pains to a minimum for now. Also, try challenger to be a little more cautious with blurting things out. None of the characters in this game have heard my druid's name, so no one knows it.

I saw your name in orange so I thought you two knew each other from the previous adventure. My bad I will strike your name from my post. And a few people ooc came to me about challenger thats why I put that up I will stay in character. I'm just letting him know I wasn't starting anything.

can we use something besides Purple. It is hard to read. after you select purple and the tags come up, clear out the word puple and write in the word violet instead if you look at my posts you can see that my thoughts are a lighter shade of purple, sorry that violet is not a selectable color, but that is the nature of the beast, here i'll show you an example this is purple which when the code is active looks like this is purpleok this is violet ok this is violetsee the difference in the code

That is much better. I was straining my eyes to see Purple.

Sorry Grond straight screw up on my part, lost track of who had and who hadn't introduced themselves. I'll delete the offending section of speach. For the record if I screw something like this up just PM me and I'll fix it, I'm am but human. Just for the record the only person saber rattling is Dragonsrule. I've already appologied IC for the rather rude entry to the clearing. I had hoped someone would explain quickly what was happening so the miss understand could be resolved with the minimum of bad blood. I didn't expect to have to ask three times with the situation inching towards a fight to get an answer. (And then only half of one) You guys do see why your situation was extremely suspicious right? I still don't understand why I couldn't get an answer to a question that basicaly boiled down to 'Are you the good guys or the bad guys?' (Not unreasonable for a newcomer happening on a battlefield) If by arrogance you mean continueing to act like Marteen isn't dangerous, its that or respond to his threats with steel and I simply can't be bothered to do that IC or OOC. That asside I agree PvP is bad for D&D games and I've little interest in participating in it. (Especialy for a match that boils down to what runs out first, my short term buff spells or Marteen's hit points)

"Its an astrosphinx, or at least it looks like the creature described by Count Von Frond in his diaries." Gibson shouted across to Marteen, stopping to observe the proceedings. "Incidentally, who are you? and how did you come to be here in the middle of a recently destroyed farm?" his right hand had moved down to rest on the prommel of his longsword. Challenger This was your first post to the group as a whole.

In the future I will require a knowledge check to see if the character would know about a certain creature, item, history, etc.
Also, if you are going to try and Bluff make sure you roll it. Perhaps put the roll in a PM to the DM and put the actual Bluff in the narrative. That way people aren't alerted to a bluff by seeing the roll.
I think this will work best for characters that might have an abrasive personality. I think Gibson adds spice to the game but with any spice it has to be in moderation.
Happy Gaming!

Ludrud hears the sudden hostility from the man behind him. Peace! We will be peaceful here while we can. Enough men died in the night to feed the worms for years. We have no need for one more now! The druid does not take his eyes from the riddling creature, but keeps an ear tuned to the doings behind him. This was gronds reply.
