7.
The draconic figure gestures again. "This is what we seek to prevent, those of us who see the patterns. This is what is to come, unless something is done."
The world changes, and around where you stand you see the city of Angleshand, the thriving capitol of the human kingdom... but not the bustling city you know. It is a burnt, war-torn ruin. There is no building which has not been touched by flame, and no sign of any living creature. Scattered, gnawed skeletons line the streets, and some hardy vegetation still grows among the snowy wastes. You feel that every city on the face of the earth now looks like this, a dead wasteland, and that none remain to tell the tale.
"This is what will happen if they come again and cannot be stopped. The great enemy rose a thousand years ago, but the humans say they were defeated. You must find out how they were defeated, and why they rose, or this time their hunger will wipe out every animal in the world."

He gestures again, and the vision clears, leaving only the dimly illuminated darkness surrounding the two of you. "You have shown much wisdom today, and gained more. But there is always a price for such knowledge, and I fear the experience has aged your body in some ways even as it expanded your mind. You will have to be more careful of your movements, for you are no longer as nimble as once you were. But this knowledge you have is precious, for few above the surface of this world have any inkling of what is to come. Heed my words, and discover why.... "
The vision clears as you awake, in the same camp, the same night, you went to sleep. But you do indeed feel less nimble but more wise, and somewhat more experienced in battle.
OOC note: You gain 1000 XP, and can transfer up to 4 points from dexterity into your wisdom.

WOW, I didn't think I was that close. I just knew it was gonna have a hard time hitting me, and didn't really think I had to kill him. He would have survived that last attack but not by much, and if both claws would have connected he was done. Max damage on the last attack I had rolled would have been 7 exactly, but the dice roller would not have given me a 4. LOL
OK, I'll mark both down on sheet. Dex wont affect my AC but will my init and reflex saves. It will be worth it in the end.
That level drain was a nice twist. Die Dice roller DIE. I thought with a +8 I had a chance even not knowing what I had to roll. I think you might have forgotten that technically he is ECL 7 and the monster was not strong enough to get past that. My strength is the only thing that saves me on attacks.

Well, I couldn't find anything stating how often he can level drain an opponent, or you'd probably be hurting much more. In the absense of information, I assumed it was once per day, but I don't have the book and was using the web excerpt from Wizard's site. If I knew he could do it more often, you'd be more drained (Or he'd try, the DC is only 15).
Anyway, there you go, I was hoping to get the dream out of the way before next session. Just keep in mind noone else is going to have the foggiest idea what you're talking about if you try to do anything.

With my losing dex and gaining wisdom, will I look any different to the group? We really need Velart to get back into group. He being a cleric also, for the moment, I might want to share my dream with him.

Shouldn't be any looks changes, except that you're a bit slower now.
