Well other than the casters we don't have a ranged attack, since Skull is a 2 weapon fighting Ranger. But seriously, if you are rejoining the group, keep it basic.

Sounds good. Oh, I thought of the ultimate character for Robbie, one who's intelligent and effective. It just relies on being played by someone other than robbie Anyway, looks like I will be at the game, I haven't heard from my college that I'm anything but on the "waiting list."

Leafrunner, I will have mine also. I have a feeling that neither one of us will have it long. Under NO circumstances is Robbie allowed to look at our PHB II's. The new classes are way beyond his comprehension.

Just equip everyone with earmuffs first, or I'll pay loxely to cast silence around you (assuming he doesn't already have all of my money lol).

I'm tired of hearing perfect character. If my characters die at high at high enough level I'm replacing one of them with a mindflayer. (illithid savant) Who's perfect brain will I get to eat?!!

Whatever, I'll eat your destructo brain. I'm just tired of hearing all of this ultimate character creation stuff, no hard feelings, I just want to eat brains. Seriously, if I lose a character, I think i'd probably make a spellsword/ dragon slayer. Dragon slayers rule. Either that or try to make a hulking hurler. Too bad Storm giants probably have a massive starting ECL. That just means I'd have to start as an incomplete one heheheheeeee

The problem is, especially in D&D, there is no perfect character. Everyone has an Idea of how to play them, but there are so many things that you can do with every character, that things change.
Aramor is fun to play, but like I said, I didn't think about the dynamics of after this part of the campaign what will happen. I should have taken into account, that after awhile he would have to deal with the Necro. So I could have him go back to the Temple when done and introduce a new one or maybe stop from being a Pally of Freedom.
Whynot, was gonna be a dungeon delver, then a shadow dancer or any other things that he could be. But when its all said and done I just keep him as a rogue. Its all in play style, but some people have no idea on how to do their character, because they choose a character they don't understand or see someone do something and say "Hey that's for me", then can't play it. Everyones character is "perfect" if it is played the way the want to play it.

Well said. Not every character has to be about combat, its just that all of mine are. Personality and decisions are what make a character and the game the game the character is in. Combat is just one (the most important all encompassing and every so beautiful) little part of the game. The actual RPing and what happens in that part of the game should be at least equally important. Watch how many double takes I get for talking down the value of my precious, wonderful combat.
