Lol, yes well it is an Herbalists heaven at that.
I have a few details to work out yet but I think that it won't be long and LGG1 and PAHWG will meet, or at the very least just miss eachother.
I'm working on it Joe. There is alot to consider when introducing a "new" deity to the cosmos and the playing of such a being can be difficult. There will be alot of one on one playing, probably via e-mail or pm. Of course, if many of you are interested in how this type of thing works I can create a new topic. While this may give away info that would effect characters in both groups, it also may give a deeper understanding of events and how and why dieties work the way they do in the game.

Man, once a month is too little a time to play. You know I would love to know how things work but it's totally up to you as to how much information you want to divulge. I'm cool with the progression of the characters as it is going now.

It kinda sounds like their Beastlands, could be the Island that LGG1 is on now. I know I am anxious to meet the other members of PAHWG. Plus if your Minotaur is back, you know my 1/2 dragon would love to meet him. Of course my mind is just imagining the havoc that a Minotaur 1/2 Dragon could do. Trust me, I have been doing a lot of research into making one. Just need to find a group that will allow it. And I would have no trouble doing him from level 1, and having him grow up into his full ECL, which would be level 6, if I'm not mistaken.

The Minotaur 1/2 dragon would be such a sick character. I doubt you'll ever get to play one though but it's good to dream and come up with cool things that you would like to play.
lol, for some reason I always pictured the two groups meeting to be confrontational but I shudder to think how bad the baddies must be if it takes these two super groups to take it on.

First, Lgg1 is in fact near a portal that leads to the Demi plane of Pangaea which boarders the Beastlands. They also will come near a portal to the elemental plane of fire.
LGG1 has already had experience in the Plane of Shadow (note: your necromancer does have his uses) as well as slight encounters with the Astral and Ethereal planes. As your characters get higher in levels, adventure in the planes is sure to follow. There is the chance that both groups will meet in order to work together as well as against each other.
Soon many lands will call you heroes and some already call you villains. There are many battles yet to come and it is my hope that you will see much more of the multi verse. With that in mind, as your journeys across the planes become more frequent you will have a chance to meet some very strange and powerful monsters and NPC's. Should a character die, or fall out or what not the chance to play unusual racial combinations will arise. Half Dragon Minotaurs, Teiflings, Bariaur's Celestials and even genies and Para-elementals are possible.

Yea, the trick is not too reveal too much to us, so as not to lose the adventure and wonder. Yea, just let me know about Homer.
I'd like to introduce the female necromancer and not have an in-between character, but I could if I have too.
Joe.

Sheesh, can we go home now! All this Planes talk is making me nervous.

I'll probably need an inbetween character though, unless my character resides in a cemetery in the beastlands??? What'd ya think, Roy? I guess there would have to be a stable portal from the beast lands to the real realm, maybe.

Neat stuff. I don't have any kind of backup character made for LGG1, really, but a book I borrowed from our necro is certainly giving me ideas for a "mirror universe" version of Godric from LGG2.

There is actually a few stable portals ( not including the one you guys just destroyed) to the Prime Plane. You will most likely have to teleport back to the Wizards Guild and continue from there.
The nearest portal will exit from out of the jaws of a Wyvernn skull, in a well concealed indoor garden located within a temple dedicated the god of beasts (can't remember his name right off).
This small temple also doubles as a temple to Obad-Hai and is located in the thriving port city of Sarago.
=D who would have thought.

Ok, so, if you guys use the ring to teleport back from the Beastlands then we can meet joes character at the base of the mountain on the other side.
If you decide to take the portal to Sarago you can get supplies, rest, recoupe and there you can meet Joe's new character before teleporting to the Wizards guild.
If you choose the later then it is probable that Joe's char and LGG1's necromancer have met but never really got aquainted because Vera's Necro thought the girl was a little too creepy and the Necro had a strong dislike for zombies.
Joe if the later is decided then I can give you an NPC character or you can write one up for the brief journey to the portal.

Questions: 1. How do we stake a claim to the wizard's keep/wall as being ours? I think having that place as a base of operations would totally rock the house. Yeah yeah, I am aware of the potential demon/devil infestation problem but we'll deal with it soon enough.
2. Gizgard would like to spend some time collecting as many herbs as possible and perhaps even some animals (for eating and rituals).
3. Do our characters even know about Sarago? I'm pretty sure Gizgard hasn't a clue as to its existence so there would be no reason for him to go there.
4. I vote to go back to the wizard's guild and destroy that tower on top of that portal. Maybe we can get somebody more powerful than Gizgard to cast some wards on and around the rubble.
5. We ransack the guild to find any groovy magic items or at the least some cash to go shopping.
I realize this delays meeting Joe's character but given the circumstances in game.

Answers:

A. You return to the tower, battle the devils, get inside, battle more devils, get to the gate and close it. then you can either destroy the gate, the tower or with enouph knowledge, much magic and skills in crafting wounderous items you can alter the destination.
2. Gizgard would like to spend some time collecting as many herbs as possible and perhaps even some animals (for eating and rituals).
B. You can certainly do that. Hehheh...hmmmm. Watch out for the giant man eating plants though.
3. Do our characters even know about Sarago? I'm pretty sure Gizgard hasn't a clue as to its existence so there would be no reason for him to go there.
C. Your characters do not as a rule know of Sarago. To escape the beastland you have two options. A: Use the ring to port out. (There is a weight limit as per the teleport spell and you can only use this ability 3x/week. there is a 10% cumulative chance of a mishap and ending up in a similar area.) B: you choose to locate the nearest portal and try your luck, hoping it will take you back to the prime plane. (which it will but you don't know that)
4. I vote to go back to the wizard's guild and destroy that tower on top of that portal. Maybe we can get somebody more powerful than Gizgard to cast some wards on and around the rubble.
D. You can seek out a wizard of sufficiant power, Homer will have his hands full and cannot in all likely hood physically aid you.
5. We ransack the guild to find any groovy magic items or at the least some cash to go shopping.
E. Shopping is good, first you have to stop the Devil hoard.
I realize this delays meeting Joe's character but given the circumstances in game.
F. Joe should have a backup character and in anycase, any lengthy stay in an area will force me to bring Joes character in one way or another.
