Hey folks! I was wondering if I could get some idea what the plan is for next game... kind of helps me to plot things out and build stuff, etc.
Specifically, are we leaving Paden to fend for himself, or are we going after him?
Just for the record, game day is August 22nd, the normal 4th Saturday routine. I have to confirm 6 Feet again, but shouldn't be a problem.
So if you could do a little discussion here, I'll get Ayvlan and Balla involved too.

I'm glad you're not moving the game around, I just arranged to take off work early to get to it, heh. I'll probably still be a bit late, depending on the schedule- I'll be leaving Camp Hill somewhere around 3. Exactly when, we'll see. But it shouldn't be too bad, at least until they decide they don't want me taking off a few hours to play with you lot, hehe.
Speaking solely for Freas, he's going along with the flow here. Frankly, he'll try to surrender if there's more fighting- he's completely tapped out, at 3 strength, and deaf. Please don't make him surrender, though. He'd probably try to communicate in sign language, and you REALLY don't want to see what he'll end up signing.

Ha! I got on here myself! hehe
Anyway, Ayvlen is all for a rescue mission. She would gladly run ahead in the direction the group last saw Paden heading and leave some of the others lagging behind to rest up or do whatever else they might want to do. She doesn't want to wait to set out for him (in her mind, by then he'd surely be gone forever).

If Ayvlan has time I'd be happy to do the scouting ahead of time either online or in person (since you live a stone's throw from my house...)
I know that Valel wants to go after Paden, and I can't see Brand shying away, being so honorable and all. Bala does as well, since she has talked of few other DnD topics since the game. Figure out what you want to do, in terms of are you resting first (might be a good idea...) or are you rushing onward, etc. This way we can get to it all in the next game session.

Valel is in for going after Paden. If asked in character he will indicate that Paden seemed to go of his own free will, and that at the time based on what was heard out in the main room, it seemed to Valel that leaving Paden go that he would not be harmed, and to go after Paden immediately while the rest of the group fought that he suspected he and Paden might return to a bunch of dead party members. Valel feels responsible for letting Paden go, also as he acted brashly after Paden made the challeneg which after Freas and Valel attacked Paden basically stopped all action.
While I don't think we shuld wait to go after PAden, as the casters are tapped, we may have to as after Paden is surely into the lion's den.

I'm sure as well that Brand would not allow a comrade to remain in the hands of such a fate. His player however is considering an appropriate funeral, and all options for a new character, Wash Dryer.

Grond, I would think that ooc all players are planning the appropriate funeral as we are talking potentially a direct assult on the stronghold.

Yes, Ayvlen will scout ahead of the group and report back to avoid aforementioned mass funeral. (perhaps I'll walk down some time in the next week to work this out lol unless you prefer to pm) P.S. hahaha "Wash Dryer"

Really? Hahahaha? That one should have chirping crickets, and a beer bottle flung at my head.
<shrugs>
Any chance in anyone's mind of being able to talk our way out of this one? I don't see much of one for Brand as he has already sworn all of their deaths.

Sure, I'll just translate what's being said and everyone can come to a reasonable settlement and OH WAIT I'M DEAF. Can't blame me for starting that fight, I really had no idea anyone was negotiating after the spellcasters targeted me.

Well, I think they'll figure it out pretty shortly when they try talking to me. I should be able to talk reasonably well- after all, I wasn't born deaf, so I know how words sound- but I won't be able to respond to people.
You know, them casting on me means they DID start the fight, not us. Just saying.

Well it doesn't matter who started it, Brand will seriously be considering finishing it, whether or not he survives until next level. May the skies rain blood until the land is washed of my foes or of me, says he.

Really? Hahahaha? That one should have chirping crickets, and a beer bottle flung at my head. Well, I didn't say it was a good joke! But surely something as ridiculous as "Wash Dryer" should get a chuckle...I mean, it's completely stupid ;D

Well, unlike Lint, Brand and Wash are real names, stupid though they be.
