Well, looks like we've FINALLY got a D&D game coming up- so I'll see everyone at Grond and Olrac's place around 4 this Saturday for LGG5. I know we've got one at the end of the month as well.
I'll probably be a bit late to both games, as I'm working both days. Not too late, about 15 minutes. Just so you know.

Yea, looking forward to moving this story along a bit... It seems like ages since I have gamed, even though LGG3 was just a few weeks ago...

We really don't need any trolls here.
If you can't make a useful comment please don't take up space in our section.
Thanks

Hey Ashory its good to see that you got the hang of posting again... though don't forget that the DM is fully capable of docking XP if he is mocked, even in jest... PS - Hey Tomas, trolls are good XP, especially if you have the right spells prepared or a decent fire/acid weapon!

While I don't dispute that I frequently make useless comments, I think that I have a pretty good right to make fun of Dave/Dmitri...he does put 7 minute long messages on my voicemail. =) Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Saturday.

Ashory,
Please pardon the post. I see a "useless" post from someone I have never seen post before and I get annoyed. I am not omni-present, so I had no idea that Dave was pushing you to be on the boards.
Anyway, see you Saturday. I hope you are playing a rogue.

Cool. Carlo our current rogue is moving and Dave was going to kill us with many traps. Tomas

Yeah! Game day has approached. I know you all are shocked and amazed that the bard has finally posted. Twice in one week- check it out. I have been watching the DM studying his D&D books and was getting nervous. Just kidding. Anyway, looking forward to the game. See ya'll tonight

The game was definately fun... but I'd rather not face more things at twice our CR again, it's a bit rough.... 2 CR 3's is about CR 4 or 5, I think. Still, with some better equipment, I think we can take 'em.

Actually we handled them OK. Nobody died. Only one person was pushed into negatives. I know that Dave fiddled with them some during the combat, but I am happy with the results. I like battles that can actually kill someone. Seems more real that way.

Double the numbers adds 2 to the CR, so 2 3s is a 5, but we didn't die. One of those un nerfed might have been approachable, not sure how bad the nerfing was. Yeah not dead though. Always a plus.

Don't forget that CRs are balanced for a party of 4... y'all had 7. But you were all depleted at least somewhat, and the tactics could maybe use a revisiting for future battles...
But they were kinda rough.
