Giving a moment for Marteen's words to set in, Ludrud speaks again I will have peace! From all of you! Fighting each other will not resolve the meaning of this creature, or its challenge The druid strides back toward the crowd after speaking. Besides, what will hot headed tempers solve between us. This is really far too insulting, that they should gripe so loudly over nothing. And so close to my home!

On introductions I am Ezeikeal of The Holy Order of Ilmater. To what you are still remains a mystery. Ezeikeal looks at the creature. Hasn't there been enough blood spilled on this night? This creature has done nothing to invoke an attack by all of you. Put your weapons away and hear him out. Turning his horse around to look upon all who have there hands on there weapons. For the riddle creature, the answer is as simple as the thoughts that run through the creatures head that you riddle us about. Only two moons past have I dispatched a small group of them who tried to sneak on me while I slept. Kobolds is what you refer too and I still ask why do you riddle us with such an easy riddle? Head turning to meet the eyes of the creature.

Turning to the druid? "I'm sorry sir, you have the look of a Druid and will respect your wishes. However, I have spent too much time with the men who wanted to kill the Elves. I take offense to some upstart, coming in and start acting all high and mighty."
Turning to the other newcomer. "Good sir, are you sure the riddle is about Kobolds. Filthy creatures they may be, but with the right leadership, they could be turned to good. So I have hopes someday."

Gibson smiled at the threat. "My names Samuel Gibson and you'll have to pardon my continued rudeness, but your knee deep in corpse's and I'd like an explanation."
"Ezeikeal I'm impressed, nicely reasoned."

I don't know why you think you have authority here. But I will say the Humans you see dead here, were evil people and needed to die. If you don't believe me, try and find some wild elves and they will tell you the same thing."

"My authority comes from owning one of these." He tapped the pommel of his sword. "And being skilled in its use, same as all authority does."
Still frowning but appearing at ease now he walked towards the astrosphinx complaining outloud as he walked.
"Helm above but you have to make the easy difficult don't you. I'd already seen the wild elves fleeing, there's only armed men lying dead and your neither busying looting the corpses or pursing the elves. Nine in ten chance your adventurers not raiders but you'd rather play silly buggers."
Just before reaching Ezeikeal he seemed to reconsider his tone.
"My sincere apologies for my manor, we've hardly meet in good circumstances."

"If you think that sword is all the authority you need, then I figure sooner or later, that mouth of yours will kill you. I can see you have the arrogance of the elves. It is a good thing for you, I have met many elves not so arrogant, to think they are better than everyone."
Marteen turns from the elf and says, "Now as to this riddle. What exactly is the trouble with Kobolds around here."

startled from the sudden appearance of this strange creature BY THE GODS WHAT IS THAT THING!!!
Standing with his hammer gripped tightly in front of him Malic stares at the creature as if daring it to make one false move.
What use is this talk of Riddles and Kobolds? Speak plainly beast or begone!

With the stress you brazen lot bring to me, I find the sentiments of the man with the hammer resounding with my own. I say this again. There will be peace here now, or any one of you may never find peace while I live! (to gibson) Kindly, speak not of authority amongst strangers unless you carry a badge of law from the cities. (to Marteen) The time for proof of might will come, until then keep your peace traveler. (turning to address Ezeikeal) It at least gladdens me some to see one with a productive mentality. Ludrud turns and strides back toward the creature and the cleric, barking a short phrase in Druidic. Moments later, Grappa trots to his side, and the Druid mounts. This way, we may be a little closer to eye to eye, makes conversations more comfortable, at least for me.

A druid talking about the authority of a city whatever next.
Gibson appears to be enjoying a private joke at the minute.
"By the way, where is here?"

Finally, something along the lines of a productive question ludrud calls back over his shoulder Woe that I have no productive answer for you. I wandered here, but along my way I passed a city, over some hills and to the north as I recall. Perhaps you know of it. Ludrud's mood seems to have lightened from the stern manner he projected before.

Hearing Ezeikeal say the correct answer to the riddle the creature's demeanor changes to excitement showing on it's face and less rigid posture.
“Excellent. You are just the sort of clever heroes that I was hoping to find tonight. As a reward, I’m going to offer you the chance to find the place where I laired only last night, where I kept on hand my personal hoard of treasure. Of course, you’re going to have to eliminate the disgusting kobolds that evicted me from my home.”
Turning towards the persons that asked who and what the creature was. "I am...was known as Ujaset." A look of annoyance crosses the creature's face. "Before on of you asks, yes, I’m dead. Well, mostly dead. I’m a ghost—I think." The creature then starts babbling to itself about several meaningless topics then shakes its head and looks at those gathered. "No, I don’t want to talk about what it’s like. Do you want to talk about your short lives? I didn’t think so." The creature shifts uncomfortably and defiant as if it was offended.

Ujaset it would be my honor to put your soul to rest. For your treasure I have no need for it. I need no treasure except to know that you will be at peace. Turns to the others around him. It is my honor to put this creature to rest. If any of you would like to help me on this quest it would be my honor to have you all by my side. If any of you would like to pray or need healing I am here. I have no gripe with any of you, but the bickering and thee ole chip on the shoulder has never set well with me and never made well for companions. Settle your differences before we partake on this journey or it will be the death of all of us. Ezeikeal gets of his horse and kneels before Ujaset. Where will you have me begin?

Turning to the cleric of Ilmater, Marteen says, " As those of Ilmater and Tempus seem to have need of each other, I would help you set this soul on its way. My friend Malic here, can also help heal, but is a formidable fighter also. I am sure he would be honored to help. As for the Elf, he better start to watch his tongue."
"Coming into a situation, he knows nothing about and DEMANDING answers and not knowing where here is, is not a way to make friends. Friend Druid, I have great respect for the ways of nature and would count you as a friend."
"I thought that those that hired us, had more help here. However I don't see anymore of them here. Let's go help this creature's soul, find peace in the afterlife."

A ghost of a strange beast it looks to be of flesh and blood a supernatural shiver runs down Malic's spine Bah Kobolds, hardly a challange, little cowards that skulk about in the dark! as if what Marteen said just registered Malic adds But of course I'll help, let the little beggers feel the wrath of Tempus! with that he raises his hammer in the air in salute to his God of war
