Actually the rule is not mine. It is an obscure rule however and I think it was brought in with the 2E plane walkers handbook. I think a spell will function better.
XP is 5680 each.
Knowledge Shade Golems:
Construct. Mindless, follows commands of its master. Golem's creator can command a golem if it is within 60' otherwise the golem will follow its last instructions to the best of its ability though it will always return attacks made against it.
NEGATIVE PULSE WAVE(Supernatural ability):
Can radiate a burst of inky black negative energy as a free action. draining life in a 40' area. A Death Ward or similar spell protects a creature from the burst.
MAGIC IMMUNITY:
Immune to any spell. Spells with the shadow or darkness descriptor heal a Shade Steel
SHADOW BLEND:
In any condition of illumination other than full daylight a Shadesteel Golem can disappear into the shadows, giving it concealment.
CREATION:
Can only be created on the Plane of Shadows using steel tempered with shadow liquids

It will take 15 days of research(due to your high intellect and knowledge modifiers the time has been cut in half), A spellcraft DC 35 and you will need to craft a small enchanted, granite marble. The material component of the spell. The granite marble is consumed during the casting of the spell.
To craft the marble requires 1 week and 8,000 gp. Each marble must be formed from the purest possible granite (a journey to the Elemental Plane of earth could make certain you have enough to last a lifetime ;D). The granite must be formed into a marble that is perfectly spherical and smooth. The core of the granite marble must contain 1 gram of lead. During the making of the marble a reverse spell (succumb to planar elements) must be cast and then permanency and a glyph of warding and protection from planar elements is added at the end of the marbles creation. This ensures the component will remain active until used. The result is a shiny, diamond hard, blue black marble mottled with flecks of sliver gray. Striations or bands of deep red may sometimes be seen. (atunement to other planes is possible using some planar matter instead of the lead.)
Any object under this spell remains attuned to the plane from which it was bound and retains all properties granted it on that plane. It cannot be altered in any manner by magical means. Such an item will not transform during a polymorph, cannot be warped by magic or influenced by morphic or magical properties specific to a plane other than the one to which it is bound. The spell can be dispelled, is subject to antimagic fields and will terminate when the object is brought to another plane. The spell must then be recast. If the object is held by a person and that person is sent to another plane the object goes with the individual and the spell is lost.
The object is still subject to physical attacks and physical damage but otherwise will not age and takes no inadvertent damage due to magic. (I.e. it will not ignite or suffer damage from a fireball or other area effect spell while in another plane) It can be melted in the Elemental plane of fire, Frozen in the lower hells and other such physical manifestations of a plane but is only subject to elements existing on the plane it is attuned to.
There is a 5% chance of creating a Dimensional Anchor Stone. This stone acts as a ward against banishment and a protection against planar elements/elementals.
The effect lasts 1 min/caster level in a radius of 10'. These marbles are crystal blue flecked with silver gray.
