Been meaning to post but kept putting it off, my procrastinator's anonymous group would be proud of me if I ever got around to attending the meetings on time. Anyway...
Without Pigdish, Tai Shar, and Antioch, pizza-wise we'll just need the two cheese ones for me and the family and some meaty ones for Grond, Vera, Olrac, and Kaber. I'm imagining 4 total should be ok with the smaller group, but that depends on how hungry you are, Grond, heh.

THIS POST HAS BEEN FORMATED FOR THE SYNOPSYS READING IMPAIRED.
Well an interesting game.
Having divided up the treasure from the last battle and resting for two weeks in the elvin city our heroes are visited by Derek Rine, a wizard who invites the party to his cloud castle. He tells them that he has been sent by a friend and he also is most intrigued about the parties flying ship, the Emerald Hammer.
The party agrees to meet him the next day off the coast of a small fishing village. (It should be noted that our resident rogue makes his own visit. Picks a very difficult lock and sneaks past an invisible stalker to enter the could castle.)
The party take their ship and make their way to the cloud castle ( Which is little more than a tower in a cloud) where they meet up with Locksley, who has already made himself at home, and the mage. Intorductions are made and information is shared about the ship as well as building cloud castles.
The party is then brought in to meet with Azsier. A tall, well trimmed, black bearded, bald, stately man. He tells them that he is a member of the Arcanum. A group of wizards and such who are interested in maintaining a balance of power in the planes. He says that he believes that Drin is not who she appears to be but that another force is behind the charade. A far more insidious plot is in the works, one which may involve the princes of Elemental evil and perhaps even the demon princes of the abyss.
He tells them that a small party was sent to investigate but have not returned and the Arcanum thinks little of his theories. So he askes the party to find out what has happened to his missing companions and if possible, complete the mission they have not. To discover who Drin really is and the source of the power that is behind her.
To do this they must allow some minor modifications to their ship before venturing to the last place the missing party was seen. The Elemental Plane of Air.
And so it is that our fearless party left 1 week later. Leaving behind the world they once new to a place far from home. They were told of a portal located in a massive thunder head. A permanent gate known only to a few.
Lightning cracked and thunder roared and through the swirling vortex in the center of the thunder head they went. (The tiny ship was tossed and if not for the fearless crew, the minno would be lost).
They sky went from dark purple-gray to a smokey brown-black as they passed from the cloud into the Elemental plane of air and a phenomenon known as a Smoke Cloud. Within this cloud a Smoke Para-Elemental resided. (kept there to gaurd against untwanted intruders). The party battled the beast while trying not to succumb to the choking acrid smoke.
Having subdued the creature the party makes their escape and once passing through the cloud find a small city on a large floating island and nothing but sky above and below. Strange contraptions fly about them like birds. Tricycles and flat bottomed barges with huge balloons mounted onto them float by. Here and there a flying carpet. Huge, cigar shaped balloons with large baskets underneath carry passengers and below birds and bird men and all manner of winged creature pass on business of their own.
Shard City, aka Sin City, home to sky pirates and planar denizens who seek a little RnR. Shard City was designated a neutral zone for all but the most dangerous of criminals. (SEE Elemental plane- AIR_SHARD CITY FOR MORE INFO) (Link to be provided soon)
As the ship emerged from the cloud the first sight is a large tower barring down on it. With quick reflexes Cigam narrowly avoids a collision. The half dragon ,having already left the ship to battle more with the monster, flys back but too late to avoid the great stone edifice. He smashes into a wall and tumbles 50 feet to the ground below. Taking and dealing quite a bit of damage. Meanwhile Locksley decides to test the laws of gravity. Realizing that direction is subjective he steps out onto the passing tower and walks along the towers side as though it were a large pipe and not a tower. Shiv follows suit and it soon seems they have the right idea. They make their way to the "ground" and again readjust their perceptions with success.
They stand at the top of a 200 ft high plateau over looking the city. next to them the Half dragon shakes his head and groans as guards step out to investigate the commotion. Meanwhile the ship sails on its way to moor at a dock below. Once the half dragon is taken care of he flys toward the ship while Shiv decides to take another leap of faith and walk off the edge of the plateau. His perception however is fixed and he falls, 185 feet before smashing through the roof of a Sensate brothel, breaking both legs and causing internal bleeding. Two huge, wolf like body gaurds rush in and carry him to a couch where a healer tends to him. Locksley follows shiv in a much safer manner.
And so after several mugging attempts our party rejoins in a small tavern. Here the crew has managed to hire a teifling guide. The party is approached by a tall sinsiter figure in gray robes and darkness within. He asks if the ship is for hire as he has cargo to deliver in three days to an island not far from the Shard. He offers 1500 silver. The bartender is questioned and the party learns that the three missing people they were sent after were here, asking about the leader to a street gang known as the Cobra.
And so they begin to make plans to find the missing people and learn what they can of the forces at play in the city of Sarago.

It's a good thing he has a great Jump modifier to take away some of the damage or at least make it non-lethal. The synopsis was very exciting, made me wish I was there. I'm going to see if I can be free for next game.

I think that shadowy guy actually offered 25,000 silver. We were all impresed until we heard the word "silver" on the end.
