Well it looks like i won't be attending tomorrow after all i just have too much to do with the end of the semester comming and my second engineering project still (afyer 40+ hrs of work) not working.
I guess that means that i won't be able to say good bye in person, tomorrow was to have been my last game day with LLG1 but i will continue to go to my other groups i simply have too much to do next semister and i don't have time for 3 groups. I figured this would be the best to drop since it is so full.
So good bye everyone its been fun gaming with all of you and i'll see you at the other groups that you share with me.

It was interesting having you in LGG1 (in an enlightening way) and good luck with your school work.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the game. Last night I came down with a terrible migraine and it persisted through the night. I thought I could sleep it off and be ready to play today but it was not meant to be.
I too need to leave the group because Sundays are too busy to play on. I really wish I didn't have to leave because there are some interesting people in the group and most importantly I won't be playing in another of Kaber's games.
I'm also hoping to not close the door on the game completely in the hopes that I can join from time and again. I don't know how that will work out since I haven't had the time to rejoin LGG3. Oh well, thanks for the all the fun time and I consider you all my friends. My sincere thanks to Rincewind and his wife for hosting the game and allowing me to join. Good luck with the new edition to your family.

Aw, sorry we won't see you much in the future. We were worried when you didn't show up today. And Nick took a lot of hits he normally wouldn't have without you there, heh. We'll all miss you, and the cookies as well I guess I'll have to start cooking desserts again. We had a good time today, and it was a lot easier going through everyone with 5 players rather than 8 (Vera was absent due to work) but we missed ya all the same. And for those who were absent- yaay, we killed the ruin elemental and the medusa. Olrac got off a lucky one-hit kill on the medusa with a poisonous Prismatic Ray and the big guy was brought down by the half-dragon's relentless attacks (including some successful GRAPPLES (!!) ), my ever-handy Mass Fireshield, and a few empowered Destructions from Beruthiel (sure, it saved, but it took 10d6 +50% each time, heh).

The Grapple was almost priceless. That will teach Kaber to turn me to stone. Seriously, I wanted to try that early in the fight, but thought would slow us down. With me being Huge at the time I knew it would be close. I think the only reason, i lost the BullRush shockwaves, was because of his Improved Bullrush. Having to keep getting up from prone was getting old. Sorry to see both of you leave, but hopefully you can come back sometime. However it was funny that everyone had the same reaction, to Vera had to work. That was also Priceless.

I wish I could have been there to see you grapple that monstrosity. I was out of it when Kaber said Vera wasn't there because he got a job and that kicked me awake. hehe
After sleeping most of the day I'm having trouble going to sleep now. lol
Talk to you guys soon and thanks for the summary of the game. It was great to read it and I'll keep reading it to stay connected.

Great game. The fight lasted pretty much the whole session. Grond got stomped on and almost drowned when the creature stepped on him and pinned him beneath the water, later he got crushed and bitten several times by a Bronze Snake as it constricted him and then became a human pin cushion when the Medusa fired several nasty arrows into his back.
Cigam also got to play with the snake, taking electrical damage as well as crushing and being bitten. He saved Shiv's life by transferring an earth elemental he had summoned earlier with the drowning body of Shiv's.
Ruth got blasted with a lightning breath weapon, knocked prone a few times, nearly got stepped on, fell off the top of the ruin elemental and would have taken 2d6 dam but for cigam who once again saved the day. And almost everyone at one time or another was shaken by the creatures roar.
The half-dragon was turned to stone briefly, cut up by a blade barrier and pummeled nearly to death by the Mighty Ruin Elemental. Yes, being enlarged he actually grappled the beast. What a sight that would have been eh?
Actually I think Locksley is the only one who escaped without incident.
Of course the Medusa was killed by one of those freak party , one hit wonders. @#$@$# prismatic ray. 333 hp and my Medusa is down in one shot.....from a poisoned ray!!! Cigam fires and my ancient, mighty Medusa is DEAD!!!. ONE HIT!!!
LGG1 seems to have a knack for that kinda thing. PAHWG better watch out.
Well fought friends. Treasure to come shortly.

Well, very interesting set of loot. I can use the Greataxe, and since it is normal size I can use it 1 handed. I can also use the Armor, since it is Mythril, it is Medium armor. I could use either one, or if no one wants the armor, I will take no other loot.
Would have to look to see if I lose AC with the armor.

There are also about 13,000 gp worth of assorted jewelery
Cigam.......
As the party paws through the treasure, you preceive that these are the items left by those who have come before to battle this ledgendary creature. Those that have come and died. You sigh in exhasperation as one companion or the next hurry up to you exclaming in glee, "What is this!? Is it magical? What does it do?"
You step outside the fallen ruin to have a moment to yourself. Pearing into your eye with no particular destination in mind. It is then that your Eye grows warm and you here a distant voice calling to you. "over here" it whispers. You seek, moving over the land and across the waters of the swamp that was once home to your mighty foe. There!, You see it, a pale green glow from just below the waters surface. Using the Eye you draw closer and can just make out a skeleton, dislodged from its watery grave by the previous battle. "yes" whispers the voice.
You become keenly aware of a weapon resting in a water logged sheath.
However you wish to investigate, through study and research you gain the following information...What you do with it is up to you but clearly the item speaks only to you.
Magicbane (Minor Artifact)
This simple black-handled blade is similar to a longsword in appearance, but reduced in size to that of a long dagger. For the purposes of being used in combat, it counts as a +5 keen dagger.
However, only when in the possession of an arcane spellcaster is Magicbane’s true power unleashed. Its base damage increases from 1d6 to 2d6, and on an attack roll of a natural 20 the target must make a Fortitude save, DC24 or be slain instantly. This ability functions even if the the target is normally immune to critical hits, but not against enemies immune to death effects.
Magicbane grants its possessor spell resistance 25, and immunity to death effects, polymorphing, sleep, paralysis and hold effects. The possessor is immune to all curses (such as bestow curse) - except, however, on a roll of a natural 1 on a the save (the possessor is afforded a Will save versus curses which do not normally allow a save). Additionally, the possessor may freely discard any cursed items, and all items he carries are immune to rust and disintegration.
Magicbane does not have to be actually held or wielded for the possessor to gain these benefits, merely keeping it on the owner’s belt is sufficient. Just as well, since the weapon is intelligent and detests being used in actual combat. If the weapon is drawn in earnest combat, an ego conflict occurs, and the wielder must succeed at a Will save (DC31) or be unable to use the dagger as a weapon for one day; success means that it allows itself to be used as a weapon for one day. It has the following ability scores: Int 22, Wis 18, Cha 19; with an Ego score of 31. Its alignment is Neutral and it can communicate telepathically with its owner if within 100ft. It is also unaffected by antimagic or dead magic areas.
In the hands of any other than an arcane spellcaster, the weapon behaves only as a +5 keen dagger. Its preferred owners are wizards and adepts.
OTHER ITEMS:
You will also find an Ion stone in a rotting leather pouch, useless spell components and a bag of holding 5'X5' containing a figurine of wonderous power, 300sp, 150pp, 25ep, 125gp, a staff of thundering and 3 scrolls with arcane spells. They are as follows: 1. 2 3rd lev 2. 1 2nd lev, 1 5th lev 3. 1 7th lev
The robe around the skeleton is a +3 robe of Elemental Resistance - fire This thick fur robe adds +3 to armour class and gives fire resistance 20 this works against magical fire and breath weapons as well as lava. Also the wearer is unaffected by heat exhastion, sunstroke, and the like.
(Usable by Druids, Wizards and Clerics)
Who ever this mage was, even he could not overcome the mighty Elemetals, or the Bronze serpents, or the medusa. Luck did not favor him and you can't help but wonder if perhaps he was another like you, sent after a Medusa's eye by an ancient hag.
Now you all have quite a bit of treasure, but don't get too elated. you may well need all these to over come the challanges that lay ahead.

Wowie. Well, that does sound like the perfect dagger for Cigam, although Locksley would certainly like it as well. I'd look forward to trying an Ego contest to see if I can use it to sneak attack, hehe.
Locksley will also be helping to identify items (I can Detect Magic for now and prepare Identify later) and I'm interested in what the Ioun stone is and how good the Rings are, particularly the Spell Storing. I think there are different varieties of them, but I'm not sure. And I don't know what Life Adaptation is, but I'll look it up.
With Read Magic we should be able to tell what the scrolls do. I'll check at home to see if I had it memorized or if I need to prepare that one as well.
Wowie, nice loot.

I know I couldn't get my character sheet to you in time. Was Rawl able to assist in the battle or did he take off as usual to return at a later date?

A bit of both, I guess- we didn't know what spells you had memorized, so you cast a few we knew about (ineffective Call Lightning, your strength and con buff spells) and basically forgot about you the rest of the time. If I'd been thinking a bit more I'd have had you Summon Nature's Ally for the whole battle because we could be sure that you can cast it, at least spontaneously. But the brain was elsewhere. Still, your buffs helped Dragonsrule grapple the monster and all. But with the absent-mindedness on our parts and you not even having a mini to hurt in the battle, Kaber'll probably be pretty generous if you get half XP. Sorry.

As you did help in the previous battle and did do some things in this one I would give you half XP. I understand that you can't always be at the games, you at least try. Unfortunatly, our resident Necro played no part that I can recall in the battles so you out of luck Rawl ( or is it Ryle?) Anyway, the party might be generous enouph to offer you some of the treasure. I know you don't have much and as a druid the robe would be pretty kewl for you. You'll have to fight that out with the rest of the party though.
