Yeah well, the guys couldn't let me go off to hatch plans of draconioc destruction for a whole month so they insisted we take care of Nightwing there and then. It was fun. I think I actully did damage to most everyone. The necro and Tai got the worst. Even our half dragon got tail slapped a bit. Tai went out in a blaze of glory. The battle had gone from ground to air to water and I had everyone where I wanted them. Tai of a retributive strike. The Death Bind spell unleashed upon my dragons death caused a 50' radius explosion = to the max of its breath wep. Fortunatly Tai was resuced from deaths door and revived.
I'll post the treasure and xp later tonight.

Sounds like it was. Man, I always miss the good stuff. Can't wait for next month. I'll finally be lvl 11 and I'll get lvl 6 spells. Very nice indeed.
Look forward to your post Kaber.

OK people. Nightwings treasure is actually located at the far end of the Cavern. A shallow sink hole holds the following treasure.
EXP=1,700/ character + (Locksly +105+25) (Ruth +15+15+20+125-for saving Tai and takeing out the Swarm (Halfdragon +75+115-for the swarm) (Shiv +125+25)(the extra here represents your further connection with your sword and dragon slaying). (Cigam+75+15+30) (Vera+25+15) (Tai +300 - Heroic death) (Druid +25+15)
If you did something exceptional or did something notable that aided the parties survival or in general let me know so I can add additional xp if I missed it.
The treasure:
1 Sun Stone 1 Ring Protection +3 1 Ring Shooting Stars 1 Ring of invis (3x/day) 1 Major Circlet of blasting 1/d 1 Wand of lightning (15 chgs) 1 Scarab of Summmon Swarm-1chg 1 Potion of Levitation 1 Great Sword +5 Flame Tounge 1 Full Plate (Master Crafted) 1 Scale Mail +4 1 Dwarven Waraxe +2 1 Large Steel Sheild +1
2950 GP 7300 SP 100 PP 2 Garnets = 20 GP Each 1 Black Pearl = 50 GP
Shiv you have noted an underwater passage at the rear of the lake going beneath the stone wall.
Congratulations, you are now a fairly wealthy party, divy up your treasures and enjoy. Starkadder-you do detect an aura of evil about the treasure but that is most likely due to the dragon. You also are feeling very wet and ill tempered at your water soaked fur and compulsivly set about preening yourself.

the ring of protection +3 or the Ring of Invis would be nice for Rawl. Can't use much else there. Not sure what exactly the circlet does, I'll have to look that up later.
Good news is, I leveled!!!

What! No extra xp love for Starkadder? Even if I don't get extra xp at least take xp away from Shiv. muhahaha
Also, you awarded 1,275 xp before the session ended. Are you increasing it to 1,700 now or is this in addition to what was awarded?
<goes back to cleaning fur>
Oh, FYI not all cats detest water. Some of the larger cats swim quite well as I'm sure you know.
To the group:
"Oh, some of the loot there has an evil aura about it. I'd suggest we have a closer look at it before some of you try it on."
My share of the loot will go to Skitter and eventually donated.

add the difference to you existing XP. I did forget skitter who gets (+15+25)
And yes, some big cats do swim well. You don't detest water but it is still very uncomfortable. (And its fun to poke fun at you in thinking that you are a puss in boots kinda guy who coughs up hair balls and cringes at the mearest puddle of water)
There is nothing specifically evil in the treasure, it has just been staurated with the Draons aura.
The Major Circlet of Blasting shoots forth a beam of searing light doing 40 pts of damage. You wear it as you would a headress or crown.

The ring is the only thing I could make use out of, at least until I gain my next 2 lvls. But if someone else needs it more, I don't need it that bad.

Which ring? I forget, do rings of protection stack? I have one +2. If I remember right you can where one magic ring on each hand. It's really the only way for my ac to get above 20. I'm cool with either of the 3 I mentioned above.

They won't stack if the bonus is of the same type.

ah, ok...so the ring of protection +3 would only replace my ring of protection +2. Good to know. That affects my decision. Circlet of blasting is sounding cooler and cooler. Surprised more people from the group aren't circling the loot.

If you wanted the +3 ring, I'd be glad to take the +2 one.

Sadly, Starkadder can't own any items so he just takes his share and donates it to the needy or Skitter.

The only thing I can really use is either the ring of protection or the shooting stars one. Locksley actually has no useful rings at the moment. Well, not that are routinely useful, anyway, just one from the beginning of the campaign to throw up as a nasty surprise someday to Kaber
