Gareth has pneumonia and ear infections in both ears. We probably should have gotten him to the doctor earlier, you know something's wrong when Mr. Squigglebert is happy lying down and watching TV alone for an hour. He's more active now that he's on some meds where the generic version costs $75. Fun.

Rincewind, that sucks. I hope Gareth feels better soon. Carol had pneumonia this winter too, not fun. We were actually in the hospital for 2 days week before last.

Kids are better now, Gwen's teething, though, so we don't generally sleep well.
Fun at work- Q- "Hey, I asked you to focus these reading glasses for 12 inches away, and when I bring them an inch closer or farther than that they're blurry!" A- "Er, yes, they're focused for 12 inches, like you asked." Q- "Well, how do I see things closer or farther?" A- "Well, we suggested bifocals, but you didn't want them...."

Got rear-ended today and ended up the middle of a 3-car sandwitch. Fun.

Ouch... everyone OK?
Looking on the bright side, at least it wasn't the new Prius!

Ouch! Hope you're okay and no one was hurt. That happened to me a couple of month's ago and it took them 4 weeks to fix my car. Fun, fun, fun!

I think we're OK, but neither the car nor I have been checked by a professional. We'll see.

Heh, MD. I've had a bit of neck pain and don't know if it's more of the usual or something different. The car seems a bit louder, so I'd like to get it looked at as well- but with me working and using the car 6 days/week, it's a bit tough.

I had a little work accident on the 5th. I didn't think much of it, it only hurt to stand, walk, sit down or wear shoes. So after a day of limping around and swearing under my breath (normal behavior, I thought) my coworkers finally bullied me into filing an accident report and going to a doctor. One MRI and about a thousand phone calls from concerned acquaintances and family later, I have a torn ligament in my left knee and am off work until corrected. And to think, none of this would have happened if I had been better covering up pain. Harumph Lousy stinkin disability. I have also learned that there is a fine line between relaxing downtime and horrible boredom.

I know what you are saying here.
I guess you now have plenty of time to work on your next adventure you want to run.

Yes, and I have plenty of time to consider the list of other things I finally have the time to do, but not, apparently, the ability. Bah humbug!

To fix the boredom, all you need is a Computer, fast internet access, and LOTRO loaded in to play. If I was in the spot, I bet I would finally get all my characters to level 60, of course I'm so nuts, my Guardian is still sitting on 59.4, just haven't gotten it on lately, been working on my Captain and Hunter. I'm one of those that getting to the Highest level is not a priority LOL.

So finally, I got the surgery finished, and the most irritating part of recovery over with. I was back with the surgeon to get the immobilizer removed and the stitches out. He gives me a script for 6 weeks of therapy, tells me to book a follow up with him on the 20th, of July, and that I may not work until then at the earliest. I don't think I'm ever going to make it back to work at all.
