Would it be possible to move the 28th game by a week one way or the other? I only ask because it's the only time I'm free on Saturday and might want to take a weekend getaway with my folks. If it's not possible, we'll just tell them that Gareth can't go camping with them because he's too young- my mom's the kind of person who always blamed my poor grades in college on Vampire: The Masquerade, so I don't think D&D's gonna be the best excuse Again, no biggie either way, just checking, I don't want to inconvenience anyone. Thanks! Sorry hun, but the week before and after are already taken up with events. August 21st is scheduled for PA Home for Wayward Gamers gaming weekend; while September 4th is part of Labor Day weekend, and Kaber and I will be visiting friends in New Jersey. But the 28th is still only a tentative date, so the group needs to decide what to do.....keep it as is, or wait till September for the next game. But please don't feel compelled to make family plans around the game.....family always comes first.

No, no, not a problem, just wondering. We still need to get information and see if it's even safe to put Gareth's carseat into a rear-facing seat in a Winnebago, among other things. Hm, labor day- we might be able to do stuff with them then instead, we'll have to see. Thanks!

Just keep him busy inside of the building and I'll fill his Rearend full of Arrows. I'm gonna cross my fingers but I would think with the number of people we have attacking, we can get 1 or 2 crits and kill him fast. I just hope we can do it before he gets to use his Breath weapon again on you 3 in the shack.

Hope everyone has been having a great time today, and enjoying my taco salad dip. Oh, don't forget to eat your dice.

Hehe, thank you, those dice were amazing. We were all wondering what was wrong with Kaber when he started eating some

Thank you, I enjoyed playing today, I hope noone minded the little one too much, let me know if he starts getting to be too annoying at the sessions Not that I'm trying to bribe anyone, but it will be much easier for a certain cleric to remain in your party if the baby stays

Thank you morgause for joining us. The little one was no problem at all. Why we barely knew he was there and your skills are most welcome.
yes those candy dice were pretty kewl. And we should all thank LWW for the taco salad dip. You know she's not gonna provide snacks for all our games so enjoy them while their there.
I know that many of you will be running to your books sto take a look at the shambling mound so I thought I 'd let you all know. The shambling mound was young but had been wounded badly long ago. Thus it was unable to see with its eyes (Not like a plant should have eyes but the book says it has infravision and low light.) I reduced the challenge rating to 4 but initially it was a 6. You guys didn't stand much of a chance against it.
The last time I used one was a 2E game and their not as vicious as they are in 3E.
So, when we begin again on the 28th our sourceror will have a skelleton familier. I'll make sure to bring the book of vile darkness and unearthed arcana with me next time.
Again, glad to have you morgause and the little one too.
The adventure is still just begining but the peices are falling into place I hope. The Lady Gray and her dark goddess, her afilliation with the king. The Imprisonment of the true king and of course the fog and the goblins. But what is this temple she seeks? What's this about an"orb"? and what is she plotting that she needs a small army of goblins and orcs, of evil treants and don't you think it a little strange that she had a Winter wolf companion? They are cold climate creatures after all. Well..at least you have finally decifered the dwarven script and of course it speaks of Drin, the witches dark goddess and another. Lor and his burning sheild?. Well perhaps our sourceror had the right idea when he first examined the fountain but that will have to wait.
So it may seem you have discovered the Haunt of Darkwood. The mysterious fog of fear that cloaks the protected Goblins while they attack, and the evil treants that are sent out to wreak havoc.
Next chapter.......The Mines of Mordor...just kidding. The mine of the mountain king! You'll never guess......and if you do, it will be too late. Hahahaha.

i really like yer recaps kaber, kinda wants to make ya play some more. hey i had little brothers so i can tone out a child crying. no he was unusually quite for a 3(?) month old. And we are going to need all the curing we can get, it seems that our dwarf likes to be at lower hit points yeah it going to be interesting next time. we got to have to get deeper into the caves, and find another exit, and can anyone thing of a way to get rid of the rope, kinda don't want to leave a trail. oh well to our certain doom

Whoo, well, that was fun, some fast and furious battling, not to mention falling. I think the first spell I learn's going to be featherfall, the way Locksley's going. Ah well, all the more incentive to learn magic, hehe.

Aye, but I must find a Die that will roll better numbers. I seem to manage better incentive rolls and miss on my shots. LOL Arrows gonna be littering all over the place at this rate.

Yeah, ditto- I think I'll use the one die for initiatives only, and get another one for attacks, hehe. Pity I'm out of poisoned arrows, they were fun while they lasted.
