Yeah, I kinda thought it would be Benoit going to ECW, being he had been there before. In a way Lawlers rant on Tazz made sense now. Tazz was the suplex machine and if you think about it, Angle can be the same way.
Not sure if I agree about RVD winning the WWE championship and changing its name. If was the World Heavyweight Title I could see it. Of course never try to outsmart Vince McMahon on what he is doing. Angle really caught me by suprise.

I can say, Big Show defecting was a very Pleasant suprise on the ECW vs WWE tonite. Sci Fi will get better ratings for ECW than Spike gets for TNA that I can guarentee.

Wrestling on the Sci-Fi channel, what kind of bulls**t is this? Since when did wrestling become part of the science fiction/fantasy genre? We might as well put the Tele-Tubbies on Spike. Bulls**t, just absolute bulls*it.

I know it's not exactly what you expect on Sci-fi, but I guess, NBC had no other cable stations to put it on. If it helps think of it was watching Boa Vs Python or some other movie like that. Hopefully it does well and they move it to a more traditional channel in the fall.

Wrestling is almost on every sports channel, USA, TNT. TBS and probably a few I've missed. Now if it was wrestling in the line of Human vs. Minotaur, Human vs. Predator....you catch my drift....then I might just watch it.

I have no problem with wrestling itself, hell i used to go up to Hershey to see hulk Hogan wrestle, however I feel that I must agree with LWW on this one. the ECW has no place on a network whose theme is of the science fiction genre

My thing is if u dont want to watch it. change the channel. If it does well it will probally be moved to USA some where. there was no where else they could have put it to give it a sweet time slot and a fighting chance of survival. Hence why NBC put it on Sci fi. If the ratings are good i have full confinence that it will be on the USA network sometime after the 12 week trial period is up. God forbit if i takes a hour away from another crappy movie of Stargae episode

It's called the Sci-Fi channel and viewers have a expectation of what kind of programming will be aired. The Food Network has cooking shows and related programming; The Travel Channel has travel shows and related programming; The Golf Channel.......ok, so we won't go there. Trying out new shows in prime time slots is not unusual, but it should be on channels where the audience is expecting it, and wants it. I don't think parents would appreciate "Debbie Does Dallas" on the Cartoon Network at 3pm when the kiddies are off from school, and the parents and children have an expectation that cartoons will be on, not porn, just because it is a prime time slot for afternoon programming.

Nothing wrong with the Golf Channel. Besides we had a Zombie and a Vampire on last night. It now qualifies as Sci-fi. But yes, it doesn't belong there. They could have used Bravo or even the 10pm hr on CNBC, how much stock stuff can you really handle in 1 day.
