The Aftermath:
Rey was helped to the back as Sabu crawled around ringside, and is trying to refuse medical attention. That spot was insane.
Referee: Mick Foley and Edge vs. Tommy Dreamer and Terry Funk
Mick Foley's music hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for this tag team contest. Foley's eye is blackened from last weeks RAW. Before the match, Foley got on the mic and said he did sell out; he sold out Madison Square Garden. He knows he said a lot of bad stuff about ECW, and he's sorry. There was a time when he loved ECW, when he respected ECW, back in the days when it was run by a visionary, when it was owned by a true creative genius. Let's hear it for Stephanie McMahon. Long live the Alliance! Enough about him, they paid to see the co-holder of the Hardcore Title, Edge! Edge made his way down with Lita. Edge took the mic and laughed. He says that Foley doesn't want to mess with these idiots, because this is their night, their Christmas, only their Santa is Jewish, fat and bald. Edge said these idiots will go home and text their imaginary girlfriends about how good this show was, and then they will get on the internet and pleasure themselves to pictures of his actual girlfriend. He called all the fans pathetic. Lita then took a mic and said speaking of pathetic; let's talk about Funk and Dreamer, the Innovator of Silence. They think they have a chance at beating Edge and Foley, but it was just last week when a poor defenceless women sat on Dreamer's face, she can guarantee you that it was more action in one night than all of them have in one year, and that skank Dreamer hangs around makes it a lot better for Dreamer than it was for her. Dreamer and Funk then made their way to the ring and Beulah is with them!
The start:
Edge and Dreamer kicked things off and Dreamer grabbed a side headlock and then a shoulder block. Dreamer with a side headlock takedown but missed an elbow drop and then avoided an enziguri. Foley tagged in and he wants Funk. The fans chanted "Terry, Terry!" as Funk tagged in. Funk slapped at Foley and Foley backed off and says this wasn't a good idea and he doesn't want to be here. Foley got on the apron but then grabbed Funk and took him to the outside. Dreamer tossed Edge to the outside and things are breaking down.
Mid-match notes:

Funk slapped and punched Foley on the outside and Dreamer has his trash can and pulled out a street sign and nailed Edge. Edge is back up and nailed Dreamer and then knocked over the ladder with Funk on it, sending him crashing to the mat.
Dreamer went for the Dreamer Driver on Edge but Lita came in and gave Dreamer a low blow. Edge and Foley looked under the ring and pulled out a sheet of ply wood. They then pulled out another sheet and it's covered in barbwire. They slid it into the ring and then slammed it right into Dreamer. They pulled it off and Dreamer's ear is caught in the wire. They picked it up again but Funk grabbed their ankles and it fell on both Edge and Foley. Funk hammered away at Foley and Dreamer has the barbwire board and sets it up in the corner. Foley and Dreamer sent Foley face first into the barbwire but he puts the breaks on. Funk and Dreamer then nailed a series of right hands and then slammed him back first into the board and Foley's all caught up in it. Edge gave Dreamer an atomic drop on the guardrail on the outside. Foley comes back tossing the board at Funk and Lita then goes under the ring and pulls out a circle of barbwire. Foley wraps it around his forearm and Funk is still all caught up in the barbwire as Foley hit a first drop on Funk with the barbwire. Funk is busted open. Foley sliced the barbwire into the forehead of Terry Funk and he is a crimson mask. A "you sick f***" chant started up as Edge choked Funk in the corner. Funk is screaming about his eye as trainers came out to take him to the back. Edge nailed Dreamer and he is left all alone here.
Foley has a barbwire baseball bat and nailed Dreamer in the back with it. Lita is now in the ring and they held the bat over Dreamer's balls and Lita hit a leg drop onto it. Beulah looks concerned on the apron. A "we want Sandman" chant started up as Foley pulled out socko. Foley rammed it down the gullet of Beulah! Dreamer came back with right hands on Foley to break it up but Edge nailed him from behind. Foley then locked in the Mandible Claw on Dreamer and Edge hit the spear. Foley told him to cover but Edge isn't ready. They have Beulah trapped in the corner and Edge grabs her by the hair. Funk is coming back out bandaged up with a 2X4 covered in barbwire. Foley and Edge await him and then Dreamer comes from behind with two low blows. Funk gets in the ring as Beulah chases off Lita. Funk nails Foley with the 2X4 and then nailed Edge in the gut and back.
The Finish:
Funk then sets the damn thing on fire and nails Foley in the gut and back, and then off the apron through the barbwire board, and Foley is on fire! They extinguish Foley and then Edge knocks Funk off the apron onto the board. Dreamer is back in and nails a DDT on Edge. Dreamer wrapped Edge's throat and head in barbwire and Lita comes in the for the save but Beulah tackles her down! Catfight! Dreamer grabs Lita and nails the Dreamer Driver. Edge is back up and hits the edgeomatic with the barbwire around the neck of Dreamer. Edge then nailed Beulah with a spear! Edge covered her for the win and pinned her as if he was nailing her.
Winners - Edge, Mick Foley and Lita
The Aftermath:
Edge and Lita pulled Foley off the barbwire on the outside. Dreamer checks on Beulah as Funk is a bloody mess in the barbwire on the outside. Dreamer picks her up and gets a standing ovation. Funk is screaming to be cut out of the barbwire.

Eugene is on his way to the ring for some reason, and he does not get a good reaction. Eugene says before this last match he wants to say that he loves ECW. His uncle Eric used to tell him all the time that he is as smart as an ECW fan, but he loves it because he's hardcore! Eugene looks upset at the reaction, and asks them if they are saying boo or Eu for Eugene. He says he wrote a poem. ECW is the place to be, he loves Terry Funk and RVD. Stevie Richards make him howl, when he takes a bath he uses Tazz' towel. ECW is not phoney; he wants to hug Balls Mahoney. He wants to hug all of you and go on a picnic with Sabu. The fans chant "shut the f*** up" at Eugene. Oh dookey, it's the Sandman! Sandman made his way through the crowd with a beer and cigarette. He's using generic music, boo. Cornette tells the entire TNA staff, we have three goals: great matches, sell pay per views and strong ratings. He said if they can do that, they are on his good side and if they don't, they should explore work elsewhere. Cornette said it goes like this, for the fans, we want what is best, TNA will be the new face of wrestling and the new face will be success. He said he knows someone will want to try him. Event: TNA Hard Justice Pay-Per-View Results Airdate: Sunday, August 13th, 2006 Location: Universal Studios Soundstage 21 In Orlando, Florida
- A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Hard Justice. We then go live to Orlando, FL at the Impact Zone at Universal Studios to see a shot of the crowd. A series of pyro goes off above the ring and in the entrance area. - Eric Young defeated Johnny Devine. Before the match started, Eric Young came to the ring with his "army" of TNA fans. They walked around the ring with Young and gave him the "two finger point to the eyes" gesture. Devine then got on the mic, ran down the Orlando crowd and said Young always choked when they were teammates in Team Canada. He said tonight Young was going to get fired. Big note: During the match, the top part of the Impact Zone caught fire from the pyro shot off to start the show. TNA officials sprayed fire extinguishers over the fire and it filled the Impact Zone with a cloud of smoke. When it cleared up, the finish saw Young hit Devine with a big jumping neckbreaker to get the pinfall. After the match, Earl Hebner ran out and attacked referee Mark "Slick" Johnson saying he cost him his job with TNA.
- TNA officials are shown changing the mat for the six sixed ring. We then go to Mike Tenay and Don West who are obviously stalling for time talking about the upcoming four way tag team match with America's Most Wanted, The James Gang, The Naturals and Kazarian & Bentley for a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles.
- A graphic hits the screen saying TNA is having technical difficulties. We will provide more updates soon.
- Back live, we see a shot of Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay backstage at the Impact Zone. Tenay continues to put over the "live TV" factor of the PPV tonight. Fire trucks can be seen in the background and with separate shots. We also see a shot of TNA wrestlers standing around. Footage is shown from earlier in the night in regards to how the fire got started due to pyro. Don West joins Borash and Tenay and points out that the entire Impact Zone had to be evacuated. We see a shot of the empty Impact Zone being attended to by TNA officials. Borash leaves to go check on things. Eric Young walks up saying he wants to make it clear to Jim Cornette that the fire wasn't his fault. Was pretty funny stuff. Monty Brown then walks up and starts cutting a promo running down Samoa Joe and Rhino. They really shouldn't have done this with Brown as he got lost quick. He even sang a bit using the Jimi Hendrix song "Hey Joe" in reference to Samoa Joe. Was a pretty bad promo overall. Tenay was able to save it by jumping in here and there.
- We then see a shot of the TNA fans being allowed to re-enter the Impact Zone. Back to West and Tenay. Shane Douglas walks up with The Naturals. He says tonight is about rising to the challenge and that he was able to do that in his career. Douglas even puts over President Bush as rising to the challenge with the War on Terror. First a fire and now a political reference on the PPV? Douglas said he knows The Naturals have what it takes to win tonight.
- Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Alex Shelley and mentions Kevin Nash's neck injury. Shelley says if TNA ever releases a Top 50 Saddest Moments in TNA, this circumstance with Nash will be No. 1. Borash says he isn't sure he buys Nash's injury. Johnny Devine then appears pushing Kevin Nash in a wheelchair who has a neckbrace on. Nash gives Shelley his dog tags and wishes him luck tonight against Chris Sabin.
- Chris Sabin defeated Alex Shelley to become the #1 Contender for the X Division Title. The finish saw Kevin Nash, who was at ringside in a wheelchair, throw a steel chair into the ring while Johnny Devine distracted the referee. Sabin then countered by kicking the chair into the face of Shelley, kicking it out and then hitting the Cradle Shock for the pinfall.
- Abyss defeated Brother Runt. Runt now has a mohawk. The finish saw James Mitchell throw thumbtacks into the ring and Abyss spread them across the mat. Abyss pressed Runt's face into the tacks, then hit a press slam on Runt on the tacks and then finished Runt off with a Black Hole Slam on the tacks to get the pinfall. After the match, Raven is shown posing in the crowd at Abyss.
- Samoa Joe defeated Rhino & Monty Brown in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Lots of brawling in the crowd between Joe, Rhino and Brown. A few weapons were used as well including a singapore cane, trash cans and trash can lids and more. One big spot saw Rhino setup two tables below the entrance area and try to throw Brown into them. Instead, Brown side-stepped Rhino and Rhino crashed through the two tables. It was a very loud landing for Rhino and was an impressive spot. The finish saw Joe give Brown an STO off the heel ramp into a table already setup nearby to get the pinfall. After the match, Joe got on the mic and says he came to TNA to fight and that he wants to fight more.
- Backstage, Jeremy Borash was with Larry Zbyzsko. Borash asks about Earl Hebner showing up earlier tonight. Zbyzsko says he had Hebner thrown out. Referee Mark "Slick" Johnson walks up and complains about Hebner attacking him earlier tonight. Johnson accuses Larry Zbyzsko, Earl Hebner and Jeff Jarrett of coming up with a plan to take him out. Zbyzsko acts disgusted at the thought and says he is going to get Jim Cornette on the phone to get Johnson fired. Johnson says he hopes he does.
- Gail Kim defeated Sirelda. The finish saw Kim snap Sirelda's neck hitting a modifed stunner from the corner to get the pinfall.
- Senshi defeated Petey Williams & Jay Lethal in a Triple Threat Match to retain the X Division Championship. The finish saw Petey Williams hit the Canadian Destroyer on Jay Lethal, but as Williams went to cover Lethal, Senshi dropkicked him away and covered to get the pinfall. After the match, Williams argued with Senshi.
- AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels defeated LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championships. The finish saw Hernandez attempt his crucifix throwing powerbomb finisher on Christopher Daniels and Homicide attempt his vertebreaker finisher on AJ Styles. Both Styles and Daniels countered the finisher attempts, threw Homicide out and both Styles and Daniels charged at Hernandez connecting at the same time with Daniels getting the most of it and covering Hernandez for the pinfall.
NWA World Heavyweight title match: Sting (with Christian Cage) vs. Jeff Jarrett (with Scott Steiner). You have to give TNA credit. Despite the fire set back, TNA hung together and put on a quality show after the delay. Maybe its an oman. Hard Justice sounds like a porno flick. Maybe its the wrestling gods telling TNA to get out of Orlando! They have burned out the Orlando market, sorry, last bad pun. JB did the ring intros. Penzer can't handle that? Match went from the ring, to the announce table, into the crowd. Rudy Charles is the referee. Sting was in total control early on Jarrett on the outside of the ring. Sting climbed the ropes, but was hit by a chair thanks to Steiner. On the outside, Steiner belly to back suplexed Cage. With Jarrett now in control, he went after Sting's knee. Jarrett put Sting into the figure four leg lock. Sting reversed it until Jarrett got to the ropes. Sting covered Jarrett, but Steiner pulled the referee out of the ring. Cage went after Steiner, but the referee ejected Cage. Jarrett tried to use the NWA title belt, but he missed, and Cage tossed the belt to Sting who used it on Jarrett. Steiner hit Stinger with a chair, but he feel into the groin of Jarrett. Cage hit Jarrett with the chair. Charles forced Cage to leave the ring side area. He turned around and ejected Steiner as well. Fans chanted "na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye" to Steiner. Jarrett put the scorpion death lock on Jarrett, but Sting reversed it, and put Jarrett into the death lock, but Jarrett got to the ropes. Sting missed the splash, and bumped the referee. Steiner returned with the guitar. Cage returned, and appeared to help Sting, but hit Stinger with the guitar, and Jarrett got the pin at 15:09 to retain the title. Pretty predictable.

WWE Championship Match Referee: Jack Doan John Cena vs. Edge (c)
It’s time for the main event where the WWE Championship will be decided as Edge defends against John Cena, and these two men have a storied rivalry dating back to the start of the year, and Edge made things personal this past Monday on RAW by going to Cena’s home in Boston and slapping his father. Things are at fever pitch between these two men, and the title will be able to change hands on a disqualification after Edge’s cowardly actions during their last title match. John Cena made his way to the ring first, looking riled up in front of his hometown crowd here in Boston. WWE Champion Edge then made his way down with Women’s Champion Lita, and we are set to go.
Before the match, Jim Ross pointed out that Edge was 6-1 at SummerSlam. John Cena got a big reaction from the crowd in Boston, but that would slightly change later in the match. Halfway through the match, fans began to boo any offense by Cena and cheered any offense by Edge. Tons of back and forth action between the two with Edge coming out of no where to stop any more offense by Cena. Lita threw a steel chair into the ring during the match, but Edge quickly threw it out due to the stipulation that the title could change hands on a DQ.
