Ok, so with that kick ass roll you need to pick which one to hit with that Orb. #1, #2, or #3 Also, choose high or low to see if you hit or miss. I'll roll after I get your responses.

I'll go for the one in the middle (#2) and the way the die roller has been going, I will say low.
Also, are we (the group) still getting benefits from being in Solinar's present? If I am right, it adds to our "to hit, damages & saves".

Solinar does not have any aura on to help with those things but I think what you are referring to is the buff spell that he casts on the party. If so then you do have those benefits.
50% miss chance (low) [dice=100]
Even though you missed (by a small margin) and given that you got a natural 20 I'm going to say that you hit and destroy one of the images.[rand=520325274785602948937795612020033548276530911761420137898353328643]

You're still held Aramil so just need to see what Maria does for the round.

jkb2grizzley ... just a suggestion ... re-look at Round 2 inititaves. If I am right it goes: Tusk @ 21; Solinar and you @ 16, then it's Seamus @ 15, then Maerith/Tovak @ 13 and then Aramil @ 9.
Plus it has not been stated "in game" yet that Maerith had casted those "mirror images". With these inititave rolls, Maerith may not get the chance to cast those images.

If you recheck my previous post it will clarify that Maerith was already hard to look onto and there were three others of her in the crowd of people.
The characters would have to make a knowledge arcana/spellcraft check to determine what type of spell she had on her.

Let me clarify. "Hard to look at" to a wizard 16th level w/multiples running around, I just assumed that she would know that the subject might be under a spell, maybe not particularly which spell, depending upon experience and familiarity w/Blur and Mirror Image. I don't think Dispel Magic needs to know the spell unless I'm trying to Counterspell the other's spell, I'm just target the person. Now if the dups aren't right next to the caster, I suppose I could hit a dup even if they were bunched together, but since somebody just destroyed or "pop-ed" one of the dup, i have a one and three chance of hitting the caster, right?

Let me clarify that I was not saying you (Joe) did anything wrong. I was just pointing out that if you wanted to know exactly spells she had on her you need to make a roll to find out.
As for your Greater Dispel Magic, it strips away spells one at a time (as long as you succeed). I didn't have you roll multiple times to avoid lots of rolling online and the point would have been moot given Maerith's action for the round.
Experience for the encounter: Level 15's: 3,220 each
Level 16's: 2,200 each
Loot: +2 Large Greataxe +2 Amulet of health Large MW scale mail 12 throwing rocks (+2 magic) 3 potions of cure serious wounds 6 potions of invisibility (CL 14)

No, I wasn't saying that anyone was saying anything...I think I got what you and James' were saying in your posts...I was pointing out that my character had not tried to ascertain the spell but rather dispell any spell from the woman. I put OOC into saying the Mirror Image lady...as a way of identifying...because my character wouldn't know the lady's name, and as pointed out she wouldn't necessarily know the spell(s) cast upon herself.

Ok. I just have misinturpected "hard to see & looking cross eyed".
No matter. I will make a post once I have more time to re-read what was just posted.

Hey guys, it's all good...James I was more motivated to reply to your post, than your's, Farhan. But once I re-read, James', I got that you were missing the original fact that the woman was difficult to look at and perhaps Blurred. It's rare that my characters even make an impact in the game, so I was just feeling like my good idea was being criticized. But it's over and all good.
Now, onto a question...Dispel Magic/Grtr Dispel Magic, does it stop when it hits a spell that it dispels or does it try to dispel all magic...for instance, if a character is hasted, barkskinned and protected from good does the spell hit Haste, then if sucessful in dispelling that does it continue to Barkskin and Protection or does it stop with a successful dispelling???

When you are targetting an object, creature, or spell you make a dispel check (1d20 + your caster level, maximum + 20 for Greater Dispel magic) against the spell or against each ongoing spell currently in effect on the object or creature. The DC for this dispel check is 11 + the spell's caster level.
So in this case you are level 16. Maerith had Stoneskin, Cat's Grace, Bear's Endurance, Displacement, and Mirror Image ongoing on her.
The dispel check would be: 1d20 + 16 (your caster level) The DC for the dispel to overcome is: 11 + 15 = 26
Therefore you need to beat DC 26 five times (because she has five spells on her) to dispel them all.
I hope that clarifies it.
